my friend invited me to go to a passion party she gave me a booklet with intimate products in it so im like cool but once i looked at the stuff and prices i wanted to buy everything in it. i told my bf i'd be attending the party and that she would be hosting. he called my friend a freak i don't take this word kindly and i told him i don't like that but hes like oh if i called her a whore that would be more negative than the word freak. talk about feeling uncomfortable i hate that word cause he's called me a freak that word just doesn't make me feel sexy or good in any sort of way. most people use that term in a negative way, he really upset me with that. also do tightening vaginal oils or lotions really work ?. i was looking at prices and they are kinda steep so im like who wants to spend 30 bucks on a lotion unless it works or was a designer perfume line?. so has anyone tried vaginal tightening lotions experience?

A lot of people use toys, lubes, or both whether they're alone or with their partner. I'd guess that most people try an intimate toy or product at some point in the life. And if something is common, that means there's nothing freakish about it. So if anyone is a freak in that mix, it's probably your boyfriend for being so sheltered. Feel free to educate him on the subject. Maybe visiting a porn shop, looking through catalogs, or browsing the sex ed guilds here on Gaia would do him some good.

I have never tried a vaginal tightening oil. The only way I could imagine they'd work is if they made the v****a swell or something. And that doesn't sound like a good thing to me.

I personally wouldn't go with the oil, it sounds very unappealing to me

I wouldn't go with the oil, not my type of thing. Shouldn't one's v****a been tight already? I've never heard of anyone having a loose v****a.

I've been to a Passion Party though, a couple of years ago at my previous university, and it was a lot of fun. biggrin

And you're not a freak for going to such a party. Your boyfriend needs to open his mind a little and stop being so judgemental. As Lorien said, feel free to explore some of the party-related topics to him.

What is a passion party? From what you said it sounds like a Tupperware party or something with sex products. rofl I don't know why I just find that ridiculously funny. but your boyfriend sounds like a bit of a jerk. If there is nothing more to that party than selling toys or lube then he shouldn't care. Unless the party is about something more than that, he shouldn't be upset about it.

That's pretty much what it is. biggrin At the Passion Party I went to, we sat at tables and got to pass around different types of dildos, vibrators, and other sex toys. We got to touch and try things out and see what we liked, and there were catalogues we could look through in case we were interested in buying things at the end. The one I went to was a lot of fun. mrgreen

Aren't oils bad for the v****a to begin with? It can cause infections. Even if it wasn't oil, I wouldn't use it. Like Lorien said, it sounds like it swells your v****a which doesn't sound good..

Try them out? I certainly hope you weren't all passing around dildos and testing them one after another in a living room, how does that work?

I would imagine if they did "test out" dildos they would put a condom on them first. I half doubt that happened, but then again I've seen stranger things on tv about similar parties. I'm sure someone had a fun night at some point.

mikomihino_25_2

On to what Miko said though. Your bf probably doesn't accept the use of toys and he probably doesn't masturbate often. Or maybe like IceTrey he thinks your friend is trying these toys out at the party and thinks she's freaky/kinky for doing it. It's possible that he's not open to new things either. I know my gf told me she won't watch porn because she can't stand to see other people do what they do, I suppose she walked in on her mom one to many times.

LoL of course not. xd We were sitting in groups at different tables and they just passed around the different products - the dildos and vibrators were new and clean of course, and we could turn them on to see what the different speeds were like, etc. For lubes and stuff, I don't remember if they had a bottle we could open to smell/rub on our fingers. I bought a "passion heart", which was a heated heart made for massages, but I use it for cramps. lol

Side note: Please don't revive dead threads. If you are curious about something in a dead thread, you can PM the OP or ask me (like in this case, since I was at the party). Thank you!
