The Tenzin thing makes me giggle, as it officially puts the whole of the Dalai Lama's name in the show (and the Air Nomads specifically) - Aang's teacher was Gyatso, which is the second half of His Holiness' name, Tenzin Gyatso. biggrin

#5 for fire nation~
i love them all, but people from the fire nation struck me.
the show as a whole is very refreshing, especially to see a
strong reference to buddhism and just being in harmony with
your surroundings.
i'm going to have to agree with ibbi-san, who beat me to my words.

I have to say, I love all of the "nations". I don't really have a favorite one. All of them have a certain thing I like about them, but when it comes to characters, I have favorites.
Sokka, Azula, Ty Lee, Toph, Momo, and Iroh are my faves. heart
