I really need a petticoat, but I haven't seen any stores that have ones.
I can try checking the theater clothing store near my house... but before I go there I need some advice...
I know Hot Topic is sometimes shunned upon. Especially when it comes to Lolita attire. But will the petticoats they sell be any good for a Lolita outfit?
I've never seen them under any skirt. I've never seen anyone buy/use them here...
This is really a last resort because I ordered my dress and I don't want to have to pay shipping for a petticoat or wait so long for it to ship.

The petticoats that HotTopic sells will make you look like you're trying to hide a strap-on under your skirts. They're too short and not the right shape.

You -might- be able to find something in one of the halloween stores that should be popping up soon. You'll probably end up wanting to replace them sooner rather then later, since most of the time they are the wrong shape. I'd give the theatre clothing store a try.

They're usually way too short, same as the HotTopic ones, which results in an ugly, lumpy shape. Leg Avenue does sell knee-length ones that you might luck out and find, however. They work out okay most of the time.

You can buy them from Sock Dreams [I think they're 35 dollars?].
