Forum Dueling - (Maybe slower)
Note: This is not how to PLAY the game, This is the FORMAT you COULD use to play the game. For Official Rules regarding how to PLAY, visit the
Official Website Rule BookUsing the color system + Wikia
By using the color system and Wikia, we can make it easier for others and our-self to understand the cards.
To Summon a Monster card, Make the name Bold. When you summon a "Normal Monster card" you can use the color Black. (Ex.
Celtic Guardian).
When you summon an "Effect Monster card" You can use the color Brown. (Ex.

Cards Naming Key Point: Use the color of the card.
Card DescriptionThe main point of this is to make it easier for both duelist, Descriptions are mainly for "Effect Monster cards", "Spell Cards", and "Trap cards"... Use
Wikia to search for your cards description, copy and paste.
(Ex.
Steel Scorpion - A non Machine-Type Monster attacking "Steel Scorpion" will be destroyed at the End Phase of your opponent's 2nd turn after the attack.)
(Ex.
Cold Wave - This card can only be activated at the start of your Main Phase 1. Until your next turn, you and your opponent cannot play or Set any Spell or Trap Cards.)
(Ex.
Waboku - You take no Battle Damage this turn. Your monsters cannot be destroyed by battle this turn.)
Description Key Points: Adding description to cards you have summon allows players who have never heard of such card to study and prepared for a counter.
DuelingDueling in forum topic is generally slow due to a minutes time gap between post, making it difficult for counter cards and it's a waste of time. I've study some earlier Duel and notice the use of key words like Counter.. So I figured information we could applied to make it easier and less confusing.
Typing out your action:I Draw (X#) of card(s)
I End my turn
I'll pass my turn
Etc.
When you attack or activate Trap/Spell, do not assume that you have successfully taken their life points. Ask and assume that there's a possibility of a counter attack. Life Points Calculation is the responsibility of the player being attacked.
Example 1
Ex 1. Player 1 - I activate
Monster Reborn to bring back
Dark MagicianCounter?
Player 2 - Yes, I activate
Magic Jammer which allow me to discard one card from my hands to negate the activation of a Spell Card and destroy it.
Example 2
Ex. 2. -Assuming player 2 have 8000LP and Attack position Tyhone #2-
Player 1 - I attack your
Tyhone #2 with
Dark Magician. Counter?
Player 2 - No,
Tyhone #2 1700/1900
Dark Magician 2500/2100
LP arrow Player 1: 8000 Player 2: 7200Some cards require the use of ZONES (Like
Blind Destruction, to accommodate this, we could use this format, all you have to do is copy and paste and color the card
