I heard about what happened at Idina's final performance. Ouch! My condolences....
Anyway, I just figured out that my dance teacher is the mother to Shoshana Bean. And the woman who's doing my invitations to my bat mitzvah is my dance teacher's sister. What a small world.

The new Elphie! I was on the Wicked website and they have a bunch of pictures of her on stage. For me, it was a little weird seeing someone else as Elphaba because I was so used to Idina!

I think she's gonna be easier to get use to than JLT was. She was like.... TOTAL opposite of Kristin.

. . .I saw Wicked a few weeks ago. . .And I actually didn't like Shoshana very much.
(Another one of the shows we saw was Brooklyn) I think Eden Espinosa would have been better in the role.
My opinion.

Actually... Eden was the original pick to replace Idina, but she was in Brooklyn so she couldn't unless she wanted to leave that show. They held on as LONG as they could too, seeing if Brooklyn would close in time for her to jump into the part.
I must agree though. I have never seen one or the other play the part but I have heard clips of them singing songs and I have to say, I like Eden alot better. Plus, I liked the way she looked in the makeup. Teeheehee!

I haven't seen Eden play Elphaba. . .But. . Her vocals were better than Shoshana.

When Brooklyn closes I'm definitely hoping Eden goes back to Wicked.
