http://www.wowwiki.com/Arena_PvP_system leads me to believe that titles are kept after past seasons, but i dont know for sure. ps why are you getting all uppity about a challenger title? like, who gives a ******** if you're in the top 35% of arena teams, that's like being in the top 35% of raid progression. no one gives a ********.

And I made a mistake, it was a Rival title. I had both, but the Rival was a pretty invaluable title, due to the fact that it was hard to get, and was the last thing I did before my comp died. So, I'm no longer part of the team, and seeing as I haven't played in a while, I'm getting outgeared, so the only thing I had to show as far as credibility for joining a team, was the title earned from skill. Which I no longer have, so my chances of joining a team with anybody who is good, has seriously lowered. The Challenger title made me a bit disgruntled, but the Rival title being gone made me angry.
*Edit* - I have since gotten my title back, now all that's left to do is work on getting some gear.

If you got a title in season 1, you kept it all through season 2. If you didn't earn the title again, it went away. ps you won't get good people to play with you with a rival title. sorry.

Well in my case, where 3 out of 5 of the top rated arena teams are on my server, and like 7 out of 10, it gets kinda hard to get anything above rival. And I would rather have my Rival title, than have nothing at all.
