I just found out that my sister is pregnant. She's going to be a first time mom, so please pray for her.
She and her boyfriend, the babys' father, are also talking about getting married now. So, please pray about that too.
Only my other sister, my parents, and I know so far, and I'm alittle worried that the rest of the family will be hard on her about the whole pre-marital sex thing, when what they should be doing is supporting her. It's a hard enough situation as it is without all their negitivity. So please pray for understanding as well.
As an after thought, do any of you now some good Christian books on raising a child? I'd like to get my sister one for Christmas and I don't know any.

ummm... as to the books i know them i just cant think of their names at the moment my sis got alot when she had my nephew. I'll ask about the books too.
and i will pray for you and that your family is understanding cause i know what she would be going thru i have seen it all before cause of my sister she had my nephew that way but her and the father never got married but that is ok cause the father is a druggy but she is married now and might be pregnat agian and i honestly am praying that shes not cause she cant aford my nepheww as it is and it would only be worse if she had another mouth to feed. but if you or your sister need help with anything you can Pm me for anything trust me i know the hole situation.

Thank you so much Mystic_moon! Everything is ok though, the only one in the family who was alittle weird about it was my gram, and all she seid was that she hoped they would get married soon so that people won't 'talk' about her.
Yay, the money thing is my sister and her boyfriends biggest concern too. The poor guy is chain smoking now because he is so stressed, I guess he's scared that he'll be a bad father. But right now they're just concintrating on getting the house ready for the baby, and setting up the nursery.
So ya, things for your continued prayer.

So ya, things for your continued prayer. well im sure he will be a great father just he should prolly try to quit smoking its not good for him or the baby.but thats good that your family accepted them for it. i just wish mine would they still talk about her behind her back and it drives me nutz and it bugs me cause i know that one of these days im going to just go off on them for their criticisma and stuff cause they yell at me for her doing it and they deathly afriad i will make the same mistake she did. the news flash to them will be when i graduate if my bf has a house/ apartment i will be moving in ith him and they will have apsolutly no contrloe over it i only have a year left before i do.
