If this thread becomes too in-depth or extensive, I will move it to the Extended Discussion subforum.
So, here's my pitch:
I know some of you here are out of high school, but many are still in middle school and high school. My challenge to you is to listen to President Obama's address to students, those of you that are in school. It's only a total of about 16 minutes long, although it says 20. Play a game while you're listening, it makes it easier.
Video: Address to Students
Regardless of your personal opinion about Obama, do you support the speech itself?

I think it's nice that he wants us to stay in school & stuff like that. So I didn't have a problem watching it.
And I thought it was funny when people were bitching saying he's just going to use this to promote his Health Care Reform or that this is just part of his "Socialist Agenda".

Socialist agenda my a**. People really don't realize that what they do or don't do affects the future of our country. So be a couch potato. We'll all rot.

Princes_Of_Darknes_828 Erm.... I cant watch it sweatdrop But I think we were supposed to watch it during school Dunno why we didn't I don't believe states required schools to show it, in fact I don't think any schools required it. However, I know a lot of schools, at least in select classrooms, watched the address.
