Metaphysics is more of a philosophy than a science, due to the fact that the scientific approach isn't used in the study of metaphysics. It is a study of the real and conscious world. The idea is to explain the existence of people, the world around us, what it all means, the role we play in this world, and the role that we play after death. It is also the study of the ideal world and the real physical world. For instance in the ideal world a circle is perfect but in the physical world a perfect circle cannot be achieved because no matter how hard you try there will always be some sort of error in making a perfect circle.
