"To you maybe..." Nightridge replied peeking at them again. His feathers lay back down he started to feel a little more calm. This adult seemed to not mind him being underfoot, which was something Nightridge really wanted and needed. He sat still as Delirium began to move, but he noticed him crane his neck ever so slightly. Was it an invitation to follow? If it wasn't to bad cause he was already moving. He skittered quickly to Delirium's side head tilting with curiosity. When Firethorn's feathers bristled Nightridge's confidence vanished. Quickly he moved under Delirium, sticking his head through Delirium's front legs. "Does he want to fight or something?"

She didn’t take her eyes off of him as he continues to boast, not looking particularly impressed, then again she didn’t look like she though much of anything, her blank expression not changing once, other then a slight look of curiosity that she wore when the other male decided to join them. This one was dark, and not nearly as inclined to draw attention to himself as the brightly colored one. Letting out a hiss of air through her nose, she opened her jaw slightly to bear her teeth at them.

Delirium stood his ground, lowering his head in a defensive posture just a bit. His spines went on end as she bared her teeth, responding with a soft hiss of his own. His tail feathers twitched in irritation, fur puffing out to make himself look slightly more imposing.
"Be careful," he growled softly to the little one, "Be ready to run if thingsss get out of hand." His eyes locked onto the female, he glanced periodically at the pompous male that still seemed to strut about the clearing. He watched both of them for a minute, studied them, before lifting his paw as if to move closer again.

Her air of aloofness amused him. Let her act as if she wasn't interested, he thought. He knew better. She wouldn't be here if she wasn't attracted to him. Her bared teeth almost made him chuckle, as if she wanted to play hard to get.
Firethorn barely paid attention to the dark male in the shadows since he was sure the female's attention was on him. When the dark male's soft hiss answered the female's aggressive move, he realized he may have to intervene. The dark male's presence offered him no competition for the black and white female. This was simply an annoying delay to be rid of.

Her mouth closed back over her lips after a moment, eying the dark male from under her brow, before glancing down to study the young male. young was something to see around here, they were certainly not as common as most of there kind would like, allot of it having to due with that fact that the male Di'taki was just not capable of providing what was needed. this one was likely born of the Adahy, though nothing was certain. "Hn" she hummed softly, looking back up at the dark male, not surprised that he had taken caution for her gesture. "is he yours?" she asked in a quite tone.
