I now have 20 challengers, so I can now start the tournament and I'll do so in 2 days. But! Those that want in.. better get in now while they can as I'll stop the join requests in 2 days as well.
To those that have registered and haven't posted a profile.. please do so before the tournament as it will be helpful in knowing the height, weight, and moves you have. Points will be deducted in the ranking process to those that fail to post their profiles and not just a "reserve" or other that has no info of your character.
During the Singles Tournament, you still are able to make teams or temporary alliances for the Tag Tournament for after the Singles Tournament. The same is available for the females in the Women's Tournament, when the Tag Tournament is over.
If you don't have a match set for you in the WGUT Titles & Matches thread than that probably means you won't have a match and be in the tournament, of 1 to 2 reasons..
1) You haven't posted a profile.
2) You haven't at least registered.
To be honest, I should have 25 challengers in the total of the 3 tournaments, if only they would register or put up their profiles.

Well, WGUT has finally shifted completely out of the 1st Round and now we have matches only in the 2nd & 3rd Rounds. I hope to see more intriguing matches to come.
Before the Singles Division finishes, I'd like to see more tag teams signing up for the Tag Division. Because, after the Singles Division finishes up, we're jumping right into the Tag Team Tourney and having just three tag teams in one match, things tend to get a little messy.
I'm concerned that there will be no Champion for the Women's Division this year. So, that quickly bring me to the point of mentioning that I will be transferring someone's spot in WGUT with a female that will be in the running for the Women's Championship. Hopefully the idea of someone possibly being awarded the Women's Championship without a challenge will spark some sign ups in the Women's Division.
A final mention of something that is still far off from happening, is that there will be a guild announcement when the 2009 Ranking has finished, along with the results. So, it would be in your best interest to stay in WGUT well after it has ended.

Yes! Another announcement from you host, Guy "Fox" Cancer and with the matches winding down to the final round of Singles #4, the final match will be decided by poll or can be discussed in this thread. There is still plenty more to come! There was a few dropouts, but those open spots are being quickly filled and are probably already taken up by now.
We've got Joey Desch to reach the 4th Round and waiting for his final two opponents, which comes down to a variety of five possible opponents to make it to the final match.
Before I end this announcement, I will mention that the Tag Tourney is coming up and you can still sign up for it, so find a team mate and partner up! Same goes with the Women's Tourney.

It has finally come down to the last Singles match and this is setting off the start of the Tag & Women's Tourney! This comes slightly unintended. WGUT is currently being pushed to finish quickly, while at the same time trying not to rush the contestants in their matches. In an unfortunate turn, the Women's and Tag Championships has just barely have enough competitors to compete in the Tourney's! These are the matches ready and open right now!

How WGUT is run, depends on those that join.
You can make it great by joining and being active.
Or, you can join and then go inactive.
This also depends on how many Gaians join WGUT.
That being said, both the Women's and Singles Tourney will be played out.
Once the Singles moves fully out of the 1st Round..
And there has been no activity in the Women's Tourney..
This could be the first year that WGUT will go without a Women's Champion!
Just for a reminder. Don't be a douche monkey.
If you won't be able to take part in the Tag Tourney for whatever reason..
Give your tag partner a heads up, for enough time to find a new partner.
