finalfantasyfan16 final fantasy seven and eight What he said. I think FF7 was best. The storyline rocked. FF8 being second, with better graphics, though the storyline was slightly less in-depth than FF7. (Is in-depth the right word to use? confused )

For me, FF7 & FF9 were my favorites.
FF7 had an original story line and FF9 went back
to that old school crystal plot. Plus- Kuja made the game sexay!

When trying to think of which Final Fantasy I love most is difficult since I love them all but I would have to say in the end it is Final Fantasy IV. Its bad enough I own 1,5,6 on the advanced, playstation remakes, the originals, and FF1 on the PSP.
I am also excited about the remake of Final Fantasy 4 for the DS so it will be the same graphics set as Final Fantasy III for the DS. I have always loved the classical fantasy setting and Final Fantasy IV has that.
My favorites in order.
1) Final Fantasy IV
2) Final Fantasy VI
3) Final Fantasy VII
4) Final Fantasy I
4) Final Fantasy IX
5) Final Fantasy VIII
6) Final Fantasy X
7) Final Fantasy XII
8 ) Final Fantasy V
9) Final Fantasy III
10) Final Fantasy II
I am not much of a Tactics fan, Mystic Quest was not that great either, Crystal Chronicles did not feel like a Final Fantasy game to me. Dirge of Cerberus I did not like the controls to the game so I could not play it, and I absolutely refuse to acknowledge the mistake that was Final Fantasy X-2.
