Daaaaaay 1
Well, it seems as though I've been given the responsibility of another child. Or...something. Right now it's just a photo, but I'm told that a "being" will come out of it.
I hope she doesn't have a tail...Cindy's bulky tail is quite enough for one house.
I went out today, and on a whim (Berry thinks it 'called' to me), I went into the magic shop that is up the road from my sewing shop. After I left, I had a strange object that the owner, Wylde, called a "Foto". I guess it must be important, since he seemed to be stressing the word, and capitalizing the F in the word.
Berry is very excited. She's hoping for a sister like her, that will play dress up and Zuki wants a brother, who will help him climb the Gambino tree out in front of our house (because no matter how hard he tries, it's lowest branch is just too high for him).
Cindy just hopes it'll stay out of her way (Me too! She almost ate Berry and Zuki before they could move).
I put the Foto into a table that appeared in the empty room. Berry has been sitting on the table non-stop since, so I finally had to close the door on her so that she would come eat dinner.
At dinner, Cindy asked why I'd be so silly as to bring home another messy child, and did she expect her to babysit THAT one too? I told her not to worry, but she's sulking in her room now.
As I was closing up my shop for the day, I swept the floor and watched Berry sweep my cutting counter. Maybe I shouldn't have accepted another child to care for. My friend Imbri kept getting more children and her house is like a small zoo, there's so much activity.
But I think I like the activity, and it's nice to have more than just a cat running around. Berry keeps me active, making her new dresses and Zuki keeps me active...making sure he's not hurting himself...Cindy pretty much stays out of my way.
All in all, I think it will be nice to have a new face around the home. And you only have kids once, right??
