Looking at the leg, Amaya could feel her stomache roumble. It was only a moment before she answered her belly's ravenous prayers. The didn't eat much, for her belly had been empty so long. It would take time for it to return to normal.
"Thank you, Aali."
She took a moment to glance about the empty den. She was anxious to meet the others, but wanted to sleep and groom herself first. She remembered her reflection in the water earlier. She looked like a complete ragamuffin!

Aali watched her with a smile, hopefully a good meal and some rest would help a long ways towards making her feel better. He gently patted the earth beside him welcomingly. "Come lay down and get some rest, the others will return soon enough."
He sprawled down himself, relaxed and watching her with smiling blue eyes. Perhaps he could help groom her fur back in place, poor dear looked like she had really had quite a trying time of things. He lightly placed a paw against the back of her neck to lick her fur back tenderly from her cheek.
