Well since no one else would I figure I'd pop the cherry in the Extended Discussion and give it a test run. There have been a few questions I’ve asked in past discussions in the chatterbox, but most of the new members miss it, so here it is for you guys to participate too. I may or may not have asked this question before, but old members are more than welcomed to join in.
Most of these wonder characters of ours have just begun their lives as students or shinobi. Even the older ones still have dreams yet to be accomplished, but we push forth to see our creations accomplish what they set out to do. So where do you see your character(s) in ten rp years from now? Then in twenty rp years from now? Are their dreams something you want for them or has it already changed into something different than you expected? Will you allow them to continue on this new path or will you push them towards the initial goal of the character?
Also to Discuss: + Where do you see other characters in the rp 10 and 20 years from now?
+ How do you see your character interacting with future generations?
+Does your character look up to someone right now from a previous generation? If yes, do they also have a mentoring relationship with that character? If no, would you like your character to find a mentoring relationship?

I don't like to plan my characters. This is RP, not a novel.
Orika will be 25 and an accomplished chuunin-level shinobi. She is unconventional, having mastered the arts of creation, rather than just fighting. Her poisons, potions, and weapons are highly sought after and they make her skills with the master, custom-made hammer highly effective as well. She will have resolved the conflicts that plagued her teenage years and although not completely certain of her path in the world, will have risen to every challenge that confronts her. Her past becomes ingrained in her way of thinking in that she strives to live so that others do not have to experience what she did. Orika knows there's a difference between tough love and plain cruelty. She will have finally accepted that her relationship with Karite is okay and that to love people intensely is alright and it will show. Still stubbornly bold, she takes a leadership position on missions and is an active part of the Kage's council in the Grass Village.
I see Orika really liking the new generation and very eager to teach them about her art. She will work closely with big classes and one on one.
It would be interesting to develop the relationship between Orika and other shinobi women. Right now, she really needs a few role models.
Shinichi will be 35 by then and ready to give up his seat. He's started greying way early and the wrinkles on his face are prominent. His delusions have only become worse and although Yuki tries every medical trick to slow the effects, she cannot make them disappear. The only person his brain does not make up is Ichi; The period before his return prompted an overload of Ichi phantoms.
I can definitely see Shinichi spending his days between Ichi and the new students. He loves to teach and is still a hella powerful shinobi. I don't see his gruff manners going away, although he'll be more like the tough grandpa than heartless general. Now he just wants to kick back and watch what's left of Shima grow well.
People are always telling Shinichi to be optimistic to the point where his fantasies now include regular conversations with General Harada in the good old days.
+Noburo will die heroically.

Karite will be either chunin or jounin and hopefully aiding in the creation of another village as its first ANBU member. He will continue to train in taijutsu and become stronger and more agile than anyone he can dream of facing. As he grows he will try to learn jutsu and further push his own abilities and his own clan. He will soak in as many missions he can and continue to test his skill against others. He will take on assassinations for money sometime in his life to explore the world and when Kore dies (hopefully not to soon.) he will go under the surgery for the eye transplant, and take on the Lion aspect of his clan. Emotional Karite's always happy demeanor will fade and more serious times will come where he becomes quiet.
Seiko will be the first puppet master taking over HaHa island building a village of his own he hopes, where a small village of shinobi specializing in destroying kingdoms. Seeking a world made only for shinobi. or he will stay in Shimagakure and aid the village if he grows to like it. Not sure where I want to take him after he gets his revenge

OMG! Kane will be almost 30. I don't really want to think about that right now sweatdrop He'll probably be like Genma. Really mellow and stuff. And still really hot.
If all goes well, he'll be a great undercover spy (think those people who infiltrate places). If all fails, he'll be a male geisha. >_>
Depending on how his team assignnment goes, he may love to teach, or he may dread it.
All Kane's role models are dead >_> From a previous generation, I mean. He really admires Sukotto and Aya~

Karite: It will be interesting to see Seiko go back on the path of puppetry if he chooses to.
Baylu: Anything is possible. No ones talked about making Kiri. I myself may have my eyes on Konoha or Suna in the future.
Kouri: lol You know. I can totally picture Kane as a future Genma in the future. Either him or a better looking Yamato.

Eh, not so great at looking that far ahead, but I can see Nadeshiko getting even longer hair, and wearing robes that other shinobi would call ridiculous.
I can see her becoming an accomplished dancer, and an accomplished high-level nin, but not exactly the strong or teaching type. I get the feeling she really wouldn't be able to get along with the next generation.
