Kazvar:
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: not listed
Craft: Weyrbrat. Kaz has not shown much indication of what he would train in if he fails to impress.
Rank: na
Physical Description: Not as dark as “S’in” or some of the more striking complexions of Pern, Kazvar never the less possesses a rich permanent brown skin tone, and black eyes. His hair is also black, very thick and slightly wavy. Kaz is easy to mistake for an adult, albeit a young one, and he already sports a bit of fuzz on his chin. He wears the orange of Theron’s gang to tie back his hair, and often sports a shirt in the same color, which makes him look even darker than his particularly black expression.
Personality: Kazvar does not like you. He does not want to be your friend, and he does not care what you think about it. The only person with whom he regularly associates is Theron, and even that’s hard to explain. It’s no particular secret that Kaz is hostile, but he has yet to act out on these urges in a way that’s gotten him caught doing anything that would get him kicked out.
History: Born in the Weyr, Kaz’ was born to a mother who died early in his life, succumbing to illness, and to an unknown father. He’s fairly well known for sneaking out of the Weyr, and has tolerable desert survival skills, for an amateur. What he does out there is a subject of much debate, and no answers from the angry, silent young man. He has been associated with Theron for some time, though even this was once not the case, though now they seem inseparable. Also curiously, Kaz has very… unusual luck on the Sands. He has stood at every opportunity, but has yet to impress. Dragons seem to find something about him… curiously uncomfortable. Perhaps simply because he’s so anti-social, that he lacks sufficient degree of empathy to make them comfortable. Likewise, he doesn’t seem to get along with flitt’s even though they’re much less finicky than dragons, and he makes no effort to do so.
Pets: None
Other/Talents: Kaz seems to have a particular knack for desert survival, and occasionally exercises this by ranging out on foot. Although he’s not a big talker, and many assume him to be of low intelligence, he’s also possessed of an sort of animal cunning, and an annoying degree of stealth when he wants it, which has made him, along side with his overall intimidating personality, an frightening ally to Theron. Even Alrain finds him immensely unnerving, and is inclined to think that the Dragons know something no one else does.

Will this character be a candidate? Yes but he’s not intended to impress.
