With his arms full of books, Lyndon walked cautiously over to a table away from the loud noise of the rest of the library. He dropped his stack of books down onto the table loudly, and cringed, waiting for the librarian to give him trouble for it. When nothing happened, he turned around and saw that she was scolding a particularly noisy group of third year students, and wasn't paying any attention to him.
He sat down and grabbed the book from the top of the pile; it was a book about the various different charms he was sure they would be covering in class. Maybe I can get a head start on the curriculum and master these spells early, he thought. Ugh, I need a life if studying is the highpoint of my day. After flipping through a few pages and looking at the list of spells, he put the book down on the table and leaned back in his chair, so that it was only relying on two of the four chair legs.
