Witches and Wizards from other Books, Movie, ect. that you wish went to Hogwarts. What house would they be in? Who would they be friends with? What era would they be from?
I'll start
Eglantine Price= from Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
Hufflepuff
She would end up a failed Transfiguration teacher.
please tell me if this already exists.

Its like if you could bring a Witch or wizard from another series into the Harry Potter series, were would they end up?
Another example:
The Witches from Buffy:
Willow would end up in either Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, because she is really smart but very "Neville" brave.
Tara would end up in Hufflepuff, because she is loyal to Willow and the scobbies but wasnt always there with them.
Amy would end up in Slytherin, because she is only out for her own gains.

I understand. It sounds like a fun way for people to get ideas for crossover fics. smile
Artemis Fowl from Artemis Fowl by Colfer would be in Slytherin. He has a high opinion of himself and is extremely ambitious. He does ruthless things to protect his morals and the family/friends that he loves.
For example, he's opposed to hunting whales, so he blew up a whaling ship. When his father went missing and he needed money to search for him, he kidnapped an elf and randsomed her.
If he lived in Harry's era I don't know who he'd be friends with; he probably wouldn't like Draco much. If he lived in the Marauders era I can imagine him befriending Severus.

Zedd from the Sword of Truth series would be in Gryffindor, because basically everything he does is to help protect his people, from conjuring the underworld to make boundary's to separate enemy lands, or avoiding his grandson from finding out some silly little fact from Zedd's past. I can imagine him being friends with Dumbledore......
Ann and Verna (some series) would be in Ravenclaw, but they might elavate to Gryffindor. They spend all their time reading up on prophecy, to help Richard(the MC) complete prophecy. And they do fight, very hard, with all their energy.
Nathan (same series) is complicated. He is extremally powerful. But he is also very, very mischeivious. I mean, he's almost a thousand years old, and one of the most powerful, most capable wizard in the world, and he wears a sword because he thinks "it makes him look dashing." But I think he'd be in Gryffindor.

Damn, you took the Buffy witches wink But I TOTALLY agree with what you said.
Since I can't think of anything else, I see Elphaba from Wicked as a Ravenclaw and Glinda as a Hufflepuff.
I think they'd both be Marauders era, and Glinda would probably be a pureblood. I don't know who'd she be friends with (besides Elphaba).
Elphaba is definitely a Ravenclaw, though. I could see her and Remus getting along.

Moony, I agree that Elphie is definitely a Ravenclaw, smile though I see Glinda as a Slytherin. She's certainly loyal, but she's reluctant/lazy when it comes to doing things that she doesn't want to, (Not like how "hardworkers who are unafraid of toil" from Hufflepuff are supposed to be.) and she has high ambitions for herself.
Boq, on the other hand, might be a Puff...or a Gryff. He was my favourite character in the book Wicked. 4laugh
Rand, Mat, and Perrin from the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan would probably all be Gryffs since they remind of James, Sirius, and Remus respectively. heart

From the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, John Dee and Niccolo Machiavelli would be in Slytherin because they are cunning, ambitious, hungry for power, and they also want to prove to their Dark Elder masters that they accomplish what they are supposed to do. Although depending on what the Hat saw in Niccolo, he could possibly be a Ravenclaw. Nicholas either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor because he is kind to everyone (mostly) even though he does hold a few grudges, and he had undying loyalty to Perenelle, Josh, and Sophie and trying to protect them and the Codex and preventing the rise of the Dark Elders. He is also very brave when it comes to fighting, but he is wise and picks his fights sort of. Perenelle would be in Ravenclaw because she is smart, resourceful, wise, and she is innovative when it comes to tricky situations. Sophie would be in Ravenclaw because of basically the same reasons as Perenelle, and Josh would be in Gryffindor because most of the time when he makes decisions, they are made by his emotions, and he's not very good at thinking decisions out.
In the Heir Trilogy, Jack would be either a Gryffindor or Ravenclaw because he is smart and wise and knows when he's gone over the line, yet he would do anything for his friends and family which is more of a Gryffindor trait. Seph would be a Gryffindor because of the fact that he always wants to do anything to help, thinks he can do anything without help, doesn't really think things through without other people helping him, like if they discuss battle plans and such, and he's just flat out brave. Jason would probably be a Slytherin despite the fact that he is a good guy, because he's cunning, persausive, ambitious and wants power.
In the Mortal Instruments, Magnus Bane would probably be a Hufflepuff, because he's a kind warlock and will help anyone, including Downworlders, but he could also be a Ravenclaw because he is able to keep a cool head during situations and pretty much knows almost everything.

Merlin (from general um, mythology?) would be in Slytherin, I think. Or maybe Arthur would. I know not.
Yoda would be in Ravenclaw!

Yay! People are actually posting. I think if your a slight loser like me and you look at the Disney version of Merlin, he would be more of a Ravenclaw/Gryfindor, He is smart for teaching young Arthur and is brave in the little adventures he has. Madam Mim (one of my favorite Disney characters) would totally be Slytherin. She is really sneaky in her little battle with Merlin.

It's too difficult to say "Merlin in general" would be in a specific House because so many authors write him differently. For example, I think DIsney's Merlin would be a Raven, but that T. A. Barron's Merlin would be a Gryff. Regardless, he'd probably be Dumbledore's comrade. biggrin
From Duane's Young WIzards Nita, Kit, and Ronan are in Gryffindor without questions. They'd get along with The Trio and co. Tom and Carl would probably be Gryffs too, and would like Remus and Sirius.
I think Dairine might be a Slytherin because she became quite resentful when her powers diminished. Roshaun is definitely a Slythy. 4laugh S'ree and Quelt would be in Ravenclaw. Daryll is hard to place...Hufflepuff maybe?
Anyway, there are many more characters in Young WIzards, and I don't have time to Sort them all into Houses right now! lol
