Yo~
Yea so i play the tuba, but I swich parents in the middle of the year sometimes.
I found out just a few days ago that will not be able to go into marching band this year.
1-. I did not go to this schools band camp.Cause I was with my mom.
2-They actually don't need another tuba.(Have you EVER heard of a school not needing another tuba!!)
It really hit hard for me cause I put 5 years of concert band, and two years of marching in so I could march with this school.
But, now I can't.
it's gunna be so awkward going to school and not going to band... confused

I feel really bad for you. I'd never be able to handle that.
Talk to the band director, maybe they'll be nice.
When I joined my band, they certainly didn't need another alto, but she made an exception.
If not, just ask for music and practice it anyway, and maybe, join next year?

Maybe you could switch instruments and play trombone or baritone. Both are easy to switch to from tuba.
