So I didn't realize this existed until tonight. One of my guy friends was talking about how he got a chick's number, and how he had to wait three days to call her. And I was like 'Wait what? Do you need to get a new phone or something?' And he was like 'No, three day rule.'
I'd never heard of it before. I did a little looking around online. It seems kind of dumb to me. If are really interested in someone, why not let them know?
What do you ladies think about the rule?

I think it's assinine. You're sitting there waiting for a ******** call, feeling rejected and they're over there hitting themselves in thier ape head going AHURRHURRHURR THREE DAY RULE.

Oh and I forgot to mention in the Gents section version of this question: I think the rule is pretty damn stupid and don't subscribe to it.

A rule used by douchebag guys who think that waiting three days after a date to call means that the girl will want them more, when really it just pisses them off.

Heard of it.
So lame.
The one time I plucked the courage to ask for this guy's number who was eye ballin' me all night texted me the very next day.
But I mean he was still a douchebag so I DONT KNOW THIS LOGIC.
There must be some sort of scientific explanation or formula..
dbag x a*****e =3 day rule
dbag / really horny lookin' for some = 1 day.within hours
THUS AFTER A DAY AND A HALF OR TWO, YOU HAVE FOUND THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE.

In today's society, it's appropriate to wait until the next day or maybe two days after. Three days might be too late, and the girl is stuck waiting around for you to call and the she feels rejected, but really you're just waiting for the rule to apply? Wtf this is the 21st century get used to it.
