I'm starting early on my Christmas cards. I want to do water colour something with salt. Or something. With a red ribbon.
That's about it. I'm lame.
So, I need ideas! Post ideas, suggestions, tips and everything for I can steal all and claim as my own.

.............................................. How about origami cards? You don't even need special paper, just some patterns and colored paper sheets. They look adorable and 3D 4laugh You just cut the card, and add little cranes, dolls or animals on the outside 3nodding ..............................................

Small doilies with a little crafty cutting around the edges would make cute snowflakes whee You could fit maybe one on the cover or on the inside of the card, just glue it on. Or hot-glue sprigs of cedar branches or a really small pinecone on the outside (that what I usually use in place of bows on my gifts whee )

Adding salt to a watercolor painting has interesting effects. Experiment with that and see what happens on a piece of scratch watercolor paper.

Hi! Mabey you could actually make the paper and than emboss it. Mabey us a pop up thing ar a 3D oragami thing inside. what about a plain card with a personal drawing/painting? I never ever buy my cards. What about a collage card? Merry (early) Christmas!

Take three or four different colors and widths of ribbon, work them into a simple basketweave over a decorative cardstock backing. Then cut them into short pieces (the length of one "stitch" in the weave) and glue them together as a basketweave either randomly or patterned. I wish I had an example! But the result looks nice and is very customizable.

In winter, my class and I made Winter Landscapes for art, and used salt on it, and glitter.
Maybe on the front, a small picture of a winter scene, snowman, or something with salt and glitter with an animal or something?
