Okay, here's my logo, if anyone is interested:

I'm sticking by my simple colour and shape thing - although now that I've been looking around at logos more, I have noticed some really nice ones that are complex. They would be harder to work with different mediums if they had to (for example, it would be more expensive to print on a tshirt, or if colours needed to be changed to suit a different colour background or something).
Mine is pink there (because I just did Valentine's Day commission), but its really easy to adapt to any colour I feel like. It is my first attempt at doing anything more complex than straight lines with the pen tool though, so the curves kinda suck
xp Ack, sorry dude, back to you and your logo... this is for your web design business I guess? Something that in some what reflects your business or personality would be good. Like the Nike tick just looks
fast, the Adidas logo looks like a shoe, and the BMW logo... okay, well its supposed to be propellor blades from when they produced planes during the war time, but I guess it looks enough like a car's rims to make it work. Web design is something a little hard to reflect in a logo, so go with something that has more personal meaning for you maybe?
Try starting by writing down words that you think reflect you, or the feeling or thoughts that you want to convey through your logo. Then work from there. Works for me when I design sites
