Not far from where they lived and his guardian worked there was a fun event going on, a theater group had come to the small stage that was in the town to put on a show. Not only that there was something that had sparked Ai's curiosity, they were going to have a bunch of the costumes from other plays the group had done in the past on hand for people to put on and get their pictures in. The moment he saw this he'd begun to follow his guardian around their small set of rooms to ask her about going. Asking had turned to begging to him clinging to her and giving her his best puppy dog eyes. There were so many pretty people in that troupe of performers, a couple of which he had the worst puppy dog crushes on and now the idea of being able to meet the 'loves of his life' which were two more people on a long list of people that the Wedding Pocky boy had fallen for. It was among his worst weakness... everything from love, the idea of love, and the desire to fall in love and be loved in return.

While it was cute in a way if you asked Vanleia she was still a little worried about him falling for the wrong person that might take advantage when he was older. For now though she would just be keeping her eyes on him and those he fluttered around, "I suppose we could go for the first part... I will need to be working before the play itself starts." She told him as she read over the newspaper that he had been fluttering at her in his excitement.

"R-Really? So we can go?" He gasped, eyes going wide. Oh wow! They would get to go and get to play in the costume and get their pictures taken! He gave a squeal as he wrapped his arms around her waist, hugging her tightly. He turned to rush off then, hurrying to figure out where he'd left his shoes. He looked down at them, having the hard time of deciding which pair he wanted to wear. He slipped his feet into his pretty white shoes with the lace on them before he moved to look himself over in the full length mirror that he was wearing... he looked alright. He nodded to her and darted for the door.

Vanleia gave a soft sighing sound and a shake of her head before he slipped her feet into her shoes, grabbed up her purse, and followed along after him. It was within walking distance so they traveled to the small theater on foot. She'd been smart enough to catch hold of his hand before they left the building or else he would have rushed forward and disappeared into the crowded, "Now stay with me and where I can see you, don't want to be losing you when we get there." She told her ward, giving him a smile as they walked through the brightly decorated double doors of the theater and inside the air conditioned building, there was something she was happy for.

"I will, I will! D-Do you see any of them?" He asked in a rush, looking around for any of the members of the theater troupe, especially the ones he was crushing on.

Vanleia couldn't say that she was all that surprised when her young ward left her side to fawn over some of the more fluffy of the costumes and less so when he started to fawn over some of the actors that were about. It would seem from all she'd seen of the boy that he was a rather... bad about his insta-crushes. She gave a shake of her head before moving to stand nearby where she could keep an hawk like watch over him but without ruining his good time.

Ai was already loving this place, daring to reach a small hand out to run it over a costume that was obviously made for a woman but one he couldn't resist looking over none the less as all the lace was just dazzling to his mind. There was just something about it that caused him nothing but happiness... probably because it reminded him of his favorite thing in the world, weddings! Weddings meant love and just thinking about them had the pocky boy smiling and flushing. It didn't take long before he was being helped by one of the workers to put on the long veil that went with the costume.

The woman seemed to be unfazed by the fact that a little boy wanted to try on the prop and in fact seemed to be having fun arranging the item on his head, "Very nice."

Ai gave a bit of a grin as he looked himself over in a nearby mirror and found himself rather loving the look and decided then and there that he needed one of these veil things.

Ai turned toward the one that was talking to him and he blinked a couple times before his flushed, his heart beat speeding up a bit in his chest, "Oh wow..." He murmured, a bit shyly before he stepped in closer to the boy with the pretty blue hair and eyes, "Oh, y-your so p-pretty!" That color! He looked just like the sky was!

As he complimented the other boy his guardian gave a groan and a shake of her head, here we go again she thought to herself. This was cute now but when he was older he didn't see his many 'boy friends' liking it in the least.

Ai couldn't help the heavy blush that he got on his cheeks at being called pretty before he smiled more brightly, "OH... I don't know, just wanted to try on at least the veil." He said shyly, there was just something about wedding items that always have had him fascinated like nothing else. He wanted stuff like that, to collect and keep it though the piece he was wearing now he doubted that he would be allowed to keep this since it belonged to this group.

The boy's eyes got a little wider at the question that was thrown his way before he nodded rapidly, "Yes, yes I am!" He chirped happily, giving a happy smile. It would explain why the other boy smelled so nice, if he were from the Pocky Shop and everyone he met from there was always so nicely scented, "My name is Ai and yes, I would like to come to look at them with you."

He turned to the nice helper that had allowed him to try on the veil, letting his eyes sink half closed as she carefully took it off of his head. He gave as smile, "Thank you." He murmured, it as to bad that he couldn't keep it he thought to himself before turning and stepped in closer to Mani, "Ready."

Ai gave a happy sound and smiled, "It really was a pretty thing, I need to see about getting one for myself." He murmured. He had a terrible weakness for pretty and soft things and due to that he found himself wanting a veil to go in his growing collection of pretty clothing, more so after getting a complement from his new friend.

"Color and flavor?" He tilted his head to the side for a moment thinking then gave a snap of his fingers, "Oh, yes. Its White Wedding Chocolate Pocky is what I was born from." He chirped, rather loving the romantic sound of its name, "I get to go shopping a lot with Vanleia, she loves to go out to the mall when she has a day off from work. This is my first time getting to come to something like this though."

The wedding pocky boy's eyes got a bit wide at mention of the sparkling cape, "Oh, we should go look at that!" He said, clapping his hands in excitement. Oh but that would be so pretty!

Ai gave a soft giggle, "Oh, I would love one of them to wear but if I get one is up to Vanleia." He explained, glancing over to where his guardian was at. He would have to ask her later, after this event were over if he were allowed to have something like that. Oh but he wished that he could!

"Blue cider?" He murmured, taking a step closer to Mani, head tilting to the side as he looked him over before he gave a little giggle, "You don't look like a giant but... maybe its because your still young? OH! Maybe you will get really tall when you get older!" He guessed excitedly, it looked like they were close to the size but maybe in the future it would change! The boy clapped his hands, "If you do get to be a giant can I ride on your shoulders?" It was perhaps a strange question but riding on the shoulders of a giant would surely get someone closer to the sky?

Ai have a happy sound as he fell into step along side Mani as he started toward where the pretty item was located that the two of them were wanting to see, smiling in a happy manner. He was in such a wonderful mood that he couldn't seem to stop smiling.

Ai considered that idea, that could be rather fun, huh? To be able to dress up in costume and get pictures taken. It would make for a rather cool picture to have decorating his room he thought to himself. That would be another thing that he would have to talk with Vanleia about.

He lifted a hand to smother giggles before smiling, "Wonderful, I look forward to it if you do grow up to be giant." He said in a delighted manner, closing his eyes for a moment as though he were imagining what it might be light to ride on the shoulder of a giant. Oh, it would be so much fun! So far up into the sky, "Reach the clouds? That would be neat, they look so fluffy that I bet they feel neat."

Ai allowed himself be led forward to the booth, starring for a moment at the glittering pair of gloves in awe before he turned toward where Mani was pointing, "Ohhh! Pretty!" Both the cloak which they had come over here to find and look over as well as that purple dress that was sitting next to it. He looked back and forth a moment before he moved to slip closer, "I wonder what they feel like... I wonder if they would let us touch such wonderful pieces." He murmured to Mani, seeming to be mesmerized by the items, then again such things were his weakness.

Ai seemed to agree with that logic, since the looked fluffy it only made sense that they would be soft to the touch as well. His attention went to looking over all the pretty things in front of them and a smile appeared on his lips as Mani explained to him what he thought. He liked the bluenette's way of thinking he decided before he slipped forward and reached his small hands out to run them over the pretty dress first. The cloth that it was made out of was silky smooth and felt cold to the touch, "Ohhh, this feels neat!" He chirped, looking over at Mani and motioned to him to come over and try as well.
