"I'll help you," he muttered darkly, and if his expression was any indication, he was serious. He didn't take any notice of Tiegan's - he was still not looking at her. His wings shivered and twitched.
What he really wanted to do right now was hit something - or someone - but there was nothing readily available.

"He must have really..." Liked him? Bad thing to say. She glanced away. Mik was looking scarier by the minute. Tiegan didn't blame him, she felt the way he looked.
"At least you're not living with him, I guess." She muttered.

"Yeah, or he wouldn't be coming back at all." He couldn't help it. He'd always had a temper, and even if he had gotten better about controlling it, certain things just pushed him too far, and Ra had found one of them.
If the god ever did get a body...

She shrugged and bent down to pick up a stick, bending it this way and that as she assessed it for usefullness. Tiegan could carve now and sometimes she bent the wood...
"Why couldn't the chicken fly through a window?" Tiegan said suddenly. SHe needed to cheer them both up. She felt partly responsible now, because if he'd been using her body, surely there was something she could have done. Like notice.

Wh...what did that have to do with anything? Now was not the time for stupid jokes! Now was the time to..to...
"I'm going home," he said decisively, and started to walk away. There really wasn't any cheering the angel up at this point; the only thing for it was to leave him alone for awhile.

Tiegan crossed her arms and watched him go. Didn't say a word. This was why she prefered animals to humans. They didn't act like they were the only victim when there were multiple injuries.
Hearing Kia approaching the door, Tiegan turned and headed for the woods, deciding that she'd just go walkabout for a day or two on her own. Find some of 'her' animals. Maybe carve something else.
Kia came out and stared around. They were both gone. She crossed her arms before heading for her car.
