Today is spring cleaning. You and the other omega must clean up the homebase (whatever setting that may be). This may include going through food stores, cleaning up the sleeping area and possibly going out to search for new nesting materials. But sometimes a well thought out plan may not go according to plan. How do you handle a bad situation as it comes up? Are you able to seek help from the other omega? Or are you stuck somewhere alone? How resourceful are you?

Dust spewed out of the nursery sector of the den in droves... Swarms, almost, accompanied by sparse pieces of green-ing nesting material and various old pieces of half-chewed food that had never been removed. Surely, the other Omegas were less than pleased about this intrusion into their own chores, but they left it for the fae to clean up, herself. The sound of claws scraping on the stone wasn't unheard of, leastwise during spring.

As the cause for the spray of dust came to live, though, the chocolate-brown stepping backwards out of the cave seemed entirely uninterested in much of anything but to get the grime and such out of the cave. She'd chase it a short ways to the woods, where the dust cloud would eventually settle, before returning to the den. The next thing wo leave would be a small family of mice that had taken refuge in the corner of the cave for winter.

She paused, long enough to snuggle with one of the cubs, before announcing her next chore to one of her fellow Omega. "I'm going to go find some new bedding..." She said softly. The others would peek in off their own chores to stare at the bare crags inside the natural stone archway where bedding normally sat... Or wolves on the bedding. Had there really been so little bedding left? Or had she just managed to get it all in one go?

Ah, well, either way... the others returned to their work, while Veera left to consider nesting materials. Most of them would dry out before long, anyways, so she sought after the softest bits of leaves on the ground. But... When she couldn't find any soft enough to suit her preference, she began to delve deeper into the wilds of the forest, until she eventually found something that seemed to sate her need. The only problem now was that... She was a little lost. Her own pawtrail was almost light enough so she couldn't follow it, and even split off at one point.

"Did I double back somewhere?" She thought, tilting her head softly. But she didn't choose a direction yet, just looking at the two pawtrails. The second was a little smaller than hers, and accompanied every now and then by little bits of orange fur. She tilted her maw softly, staring at the size differences.

Now curious, she followed along the smaller trail, in the direction the paws were heading. After a little while, she found their maker, a little orange cub, striped in the way of the housecat. The little one looked nothing short of lost, not to mention terribly out of place. Veera smiled, and spent some time working to get close to the young one, then led her towards the place she described as having come from. Sadly, this meant she was once again lost. But her pawtrail was easier to follow back this time, so she returned to searching for bedding material.

There didn't seem to be much good, so she'd return feeling a little dejected with her tiny count of bedding, only to find that someone else had already picked up all the good stuff and put it in the beds. She felt rather silly for not realizing someone else had been charged with that task. That didn't stop her, though, from adding her own mildly neurotic touch to each of the bedding piles where she felt they needed to be gathered closer or piled a little higher, that sort of thing. Whether it bothered anybody else or not didn't seem to be much of a concern to the chocoalte-brown fae.
