Okay so I am fairly new to WoW, I am not sure exactly how gear stats should be allocated..
But for hunters.. I'm BM for leveling. Agility gives AP, and all the gear i'm picking up is either +Agility and/or +AP..
How do I know which to choose? Agility over AP?
I was told to look and see if your AP is lacking or if your Agility is lacking and to go with whichever will even them out more.. but how do I check? Do I have to convert it myself? What's the ratio?

agility and ap are essentially "equal", although one is better than the other depending on spec. remember that before the hit cap, hit will always be your best stat to try and get, although hit is missing from a lot of gear pre-outlands.

I play a hunter and alot of my level 80 hunter friends stress the importance of both agility and stamina. Thats the best advise i can give.
