Yea, Daron Malakians style is great and the band is what opened my eyes to how ******** this country is.

I don't like them as much as I use to. Now they just seem more political. And I can't stand modern polotics in music. I use to listen to S.O.A.D for good songs, not for them complaining about the war and Bush...

I'm not a big fan of SOAD, never really was, however Daron Malakian is a good guitarist.

They have ball i tell you what. Singing about such things and the lot. Takes some balls to lash out at the government. Maybe not for some local punk rock bands and the 80's scene that never really surfaced but a band so populare like SOAD singing such anti government songs and what not takes balls. 3nodding
But anyway, I read the artical in gutiar world with Daron Malakian and I think it was freakin wonderful.

Balls? Come on, this type of thing is done to death. Rage Against the Machine did it. I'd say they did it better, even. Very diverse sounding and a good deal of songs to riot to. Gotta love that.

I think my friend had that issue, but I couldn't read the mag cause I was sort of busy at a friends house and I didn't want to ditch him to just read his magazine. sweatdrop
This disscussion is ten times more constructive and interesting than the SOAD thread in the Metal Guild.

Gotta love that. Yeah, SOAD is just against Bush and such. Rage is against the America government all-together. and, noe of the members in SOAD can touch the members of Rage. Morello kills Malakian, Tim kills what-ever their bassists name is, and the drummers are both good. And yeah, you can't riot to SOAD, unless ya wanna look like a complete twit.
