Milo frowned. It was one thing if he wanted to hug someone, but...well, someone didn't like getting hugged back. He pulled away a bit. "Love oo. No uggy." he said, shaking his head. He'd decided...getting hugs was icky. None for him, please and thank you.
Matthias walked over, offering a small smile. "Yes, Risa?" he said, his tone calm. He was prepared for almost anything she could throw at him. Well, atleast he thought he was.

Risa sighed and gave a smile. "You're too much like your father for hugs, huh?" She asked. She patted Milo on the head. "Alright, no more hugs. I love you too." She set him on the floor, before glancing at Loki. The dark eyed toddler didn't seem to mind hugs at all.
"Love you." He said, putting arms around her as well as he could.
Then Risa did something quite unexpected, well, in her opinion. She threw a pillow at Matth. "I'll forgive you this time," she told him. "But next time--scratch that. There better never be a next time."

Milo wasn't sure if Mommy was just making a comment or teasing him, so he decided to ignore what she said. He wanted to explore this bright new world! So, he toddled straight towards the door, ready for adventure! He giggled, his hands held out to the sides for balance.
Matthias blinked, catching the pillow before it hit him in the head. He merely nodded, not even wasting to effort to point out that this WASN'T all his fault.

Risa watched Milo go with mild interest, before glancing at Matth. "Your son's escaping," she said, some of her usual humor seemed to ahve returned. "Better go catch him. Don't want him getting lost... Or scaring the nurses." Risa was back to normal now. She was teasing again, but still hadn't quite forgiven Matth for bringing her here.
Loki had the same thing in mind as did Milo, but he went about it in a different way. He tugged on Matth's pant leg. "Daddy!" He said, still tugging. "Up?" Daddy would take him on an adventure, he was sure of it!

Crap, they spotted him! Milo immediately took to the wind, running as fast as his little toddler legs would carry him down the hallway. Freedom! He giggled, convinced that Daddy couldn't run as fast as he could.
Matthias nodded, picking up Loki before walking after the run away toddler. Part of him said it was to let the little boy run off some energy, while the other part just wanted to see the boy scare a nurse.

And as the three left, Risa fell back asleep.
Loki giggled, watching his brother in delight. "Milo scare nurse?" He asked, looking up at his father. "Daddy? Why you got these?" He pointed to Matth's mouth, blinking. He didn't have fangs. No fair. Milo did. Maybe he had them, and he hadn't noticed! And so, the toddler stuck two fingers in his mouth, trying to find his fangs.
Or lack there of.

Matthias chuckled. "Perhaps." he said, an amused smirk crossing his face. He blinked. "What do you mean?" he asked, not sure what the lad was meaning. "You mean teeth? Everyone has teeth. Well, most people."
Milo was busy darting about the hospital halls, looking at everything as he explored what he thought was the world. Boy, was he in for a surprise when they finally left this place, huh?

Loki frowned and shook his head. He didn't know how to explain what he meant, since he had been born only a few short hours ago. "Pointy." He tried to explain. "Daddy, open mouth?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. His black eyes shone with curiousity.
The toddler opened his mouth to demonstrate. "See? No points." Indeed, he had the typical baby teeth one would expect a two year old to possess. He'd make up for that later. He'd be more like Daddy soon.

Matthias nodded. "Ah. You mean the elongated canines." he said, getting it now. "I was born with them." he said, looking down to the toddler. "Yours may elongate as you grow older."
Running took a lot of effort! The little boy leaned against a wall, glancing around. Hmm.....where was Mommy's room again? Looks like someone had gotten himself lost in the hospital. Oh no!

Loki gave his father a confused glance. What language was the older fae speaking in? The toddler certainly didn't understand what he was trying to say. "Pointies." He decided with a giggle. There, that was easier. "I get pointies too?" He asked hopefully. If he didn't, he'd get himself some anyway. He'd find a way.
He'd be the best son ever! And the only way he could do that was by getting fangs!

"Fangs." Matthias said, willing to compromise. Fangs definitely sounded more acceptable than "pointies". "And yes, you may still grow fangs. We will have to wait and see." He didn't see why his son wanted fangs; they could be quite a hassle.

"Pointy fangs," Loki said, willing to accept what his father said. Not quite enough to change his word, though. "Pointy fangs, kay? I want some. No fair. Milo got pointy fangs..." He crossed his arms, pouting as well as anyone who'd been born a few hours ago could.
"No fair no fair no fair. I want some. Why Milo got pointy fangs? No fair. I want--" He paused in his soon to be tantrum to glance over at Milo. What was his brother doing? Was it interesting?
