Just felt like sharing how my tournament went today. Well ok the first game we won 4-3. That game was intense. I scored the first goal and then the other team came back and scored 3 on us. They where lucky shots. Te first was a free kick and the girl timed it just right so that when they jumped it went under and our keeper couldn't see. The second was a PK, the third was just well I don't remember. Then second quarter I scored a diving header on a corner. It was awesome but my head was throbbing afterwards. Then my friend Kendall scored an amazing goal and the Rachel scored. And the game was over.

So we went to Fire house subs and ate. Then 5 of us went to Petco for some random reason. It was tons of fun. Then we had to go back to the field for the second game. We tied 1-1. Before the game we had gotten there and hour early. We took some random pics. Anyways this girl was getting on my freaking nerves because she kept fouling me and the ref wouldn't call it. So I naturally took her out. It was rather like we slammed into each other and she got the worst of it. My friend Sara scored the only goal in that game.

The best part was that I think my knee is 100% better now. I still have to wear my ankle and knee brace, but It didn't hurt it once today with all my tackling and falling. So cross fingers it is.

Have to get up at 6 tomorrow mourning for my next game

Remember to stretch, and maybe ice it just for the hell of it. Nothing like thinking your fine and waking up in pain and swollen... at 3am and none of the ice machines on your floor are working... sweatdrop

I actually ski too aggressively and cause shin splints (the muscle swells up and puts pressure on my shin bone) I've done the same to my arms mountain biking. sweatdrop That's what you get for being lazy and not warming up and building up your muscles. redface

Well today we had our last game. It was the one determining if we made it to finals or not. I scored another freaking header. I almost scored another header but it hit the wrong top of my head and went over the goal. Anywho the last 5 minutes we got so intense. It started raining and we where litteraly crashing the goal, but no luck. So we tied 1-1 again and since the other team won both games yesterday and tied our game they had more points and made it to finals. Either way the finals where rained out. Now we are all as sore as heck and none of us can barley walk. The dogs just don't understand. My sister got plowed over by Bo and shes in the same shape as me because she played in a tournament to. Well Still no issues with my knee so thats good, but I'm still flinchy on the field. But I still love slide tackling.
