Forgetfulness Potion Essay #1

The Forgetfulness Potion is Dark Potion that is known to make people forget things; however, its effects vary depending on the person who took it. It is made by taking the petals of the Forget-Me-Not flower, drying and finely crushing them, and mixing them into the cauldron with other minor ingredients. If done correctly, it should release a puffy white smoke. Results of doing this incorrectly are giant black smoke clouds emitting from the cauldron, as well as the cauldron bursting into flame. Some side effects of the Forgetfulness Potion, and the reason it isn't used often, is that it can cause people to loss huge parts of their memory altogether. A known way to sometimes counteract the Forgetfulness Potion and its side-effects is a Memory Potion made mainly from jobbleknoll feathers, although this does not always work.

This potion is made with the petals of Forget-Me-Not flowers. These need to be dried and crushed. After the cauldron boils the other ingredients should be mixed together with it. Everything must be done correctly, or the cauldron could end up in flames.
A side effect of this potion is that it may cause a person to forget a big part of their memory instead of just the part that was supposed to be forgotten.
