A friendship that's lost is like a stranded boat,
Just lost at sea with nothing but pain,
Painful throbbing in the heart,
Shattered feelings that won't revert.
My eyes are like streams,
With never ending tears,
Tears that wont fade,
And mend my heart.
This heart may not mend as a piece is missing,
A part that's with you even now,
You're still with me and you always will be,
Forever in my memory you shall stay.
Every day I shall miss you,
I will live in hope that someday we will meet again,
My prays will ask for you to return,
With my heart yearning, my brain sad too.
Every memory of you makes me hurt even more,
While I rummage through my draws,
I find an old letter,
Tears leak out at you're old kind words,
Because I know that we are past friendly.
Since the day you left me alone,
And up until the day we meet again,
I will never forget you,
You are in my heat now and forever.
Feel free to comment or critique.
Don't be too mean though, this poem took ages to write.
