Relonrak grinned. "It will take me the rest of the day or the next to find the text though. You must have noticed I have quite a few books." He had ideas of where the book might be but it may take him. The shaman could tell that the word hit a cord, he'd remember to not use it again.
"Sorry my lady, just a habit." It was too, he called many that with different results. He wouldn't doubt that she could take him either. A small smirk crossed his face. "I haven't been out of the underdark for some time, it would be interesting to go on such a journey. I'd have to say come back later tomorrow and I'll have found it by then."
His green eyes glanced around the books. "More than forever. This is only part of my collection." Haven read most of them he knew. Relonrak nodded. "Of course, I do not doubt you but the Underdark is a dangerous place." Many drow that try to venture there die easily, few survive by themselves he heard.

"I have everything I need, my plans are in place, and I have people who will meet us. My House knows the dangers; we'll make it there. I can't count on one hand the number of times I've been to the surface."
She declined to mention why her house knew the surface so well. But he could most likely guess fairly easily. There weren't many ways to make a profit on the surface, and taking slaves was a main one.
"Tomorrow." Nedxena couldn't say she was thrilled with the idea of waiting even longer. "I am not leaving my map. If it is going to take until tomorrow, then you are going to have to put up with me until you finish."
She was not being needlessly paranoid. Not at all. Justifiably paranoid? Maybe a tough excessive, but Nedxena was stubborn.

Ah, it was good to know that she knew much of the surface and had been there countless times. "It's been years since I've made a trip. I find that going every so often it good, to collect things I cannot find down here." After all some things just couldn't grow down this deep. Relonrak had guesses of what her house did, raiding or slavery were the first two reason to go up at all for most.
He motioned to another chair. "If you must wait make yourself comfortable." The shaman wouldn't have his guest, and now employer, standing around if she insisted on waiting. "It may take less time since I'll stay up the entire night now. And if we are to set out soon there may be a few books I will need to take a long that would be helpful." Relnorak made his way once again to the shelf to look for another book.

Nedxena huffed and flopped down in the offered chair. She stretched out her legs and slouched down with her arms crossed. "Don't stay up because of me. I promise I don't have sticky fingers." The mage rolled her eyes, lifting a toe to kick the edge of the table. "If there's anything I can do.."
She didn't want to be in his way. He was working for her now and she expected him to be able to research his books if that's what he needed to do next. But Nedxena was never satisfied with sitting around. She wanted to keep quiet, it was just a little too difficult. Her curiosity shifted from the books to the shaman himself as she watched him searching the shelves. She had dealt with a shaman before, but they were still quite uncommon among drow.
"How long have you been doing this sort of work?"
