Question: Why are you sending donations back from the Battle of the Sprocket Event?


There was a lot of confusion regarding what contests were finished and unfinished & what prizes were/weren't given out after the Battle of the Sprocket event, and as a result I've decided to return all the donations on the mule from that event period (from people participating in the event) back to the people that donated them. Each person will be individually PMed regarding what they donated and be given a trade back from the mule.

I am also going to offer back the people that donated to the guild during the Battle of the Sprocket guild event period. Even though each member let the guild keep it then, I would only feel that it is right to offer them back the gold even if it was/wasn't counted towards the event. (And for those that don't recall, this is what I am referencing to). The difference between the mule donations and the guild donations, however, is that the ones that donated to the guild will be recieving a trade from my main account, Newzpop Reporta Tyro Bong, with the amount they had donated.

NOTE 1: If you choose to cancel it and let the mule/guild keep it, PM me back clearly explaining why you are allowing the mule/guild to keep the donation. To clarify once again for what this mule is used for: it is used to obtain prizes for Team Sprocket GUILD events, projects, etc. smile You can see more about what the guild mule is about here. Any donations made to the guild directly can only be used towards guild related stuff (not prizes).

NOTE 2: Also keep in mind that letting the mule keep the donation is by no means related to the previous Battle of the Sprocket event. There are no "contests" for the mule keeping it, there are no "prizes" for those who let the mule keep it. This is an offer to refund those that participated & donated to the mule their gold. The same goes for any donations made directly to the guild!

August 28th: EDIT: Clarification: By what I said in the last sentence, I am referring specifically to those donations that were made during the period of the event which ran (roughly) from April to May of this year. sweatdrop )

NOTE 3:
Also keep in mind donating to the mule/guild does not gurantee you will get a prize in a future event or anything from the previous event. To keep it clear: the only way you can get a prize from a guild event is by participating in the said guild event. It doesn't matter if you donate or don't donate to this mule/guild. It won't effect your chances in any way whatsoever. It's up to you, the individual participant, what to do.

But..what about all the guild mule's funds? ): Won't we have anything for future prizes?
I'm reimbursing the mule with 70,000 gold from my own account so we'll still have a nice bit of gold for future prizes. Do not fret. The mule isn't losing anything by giving the donations back. smile

I apologize, but I need to disallow "donation races" in this guild. If you are found starting these in the guild, you will be told by me to stop and your guild topic will be locked. If you continue from that point on you will no longer be a member of this guild. You can still participate in our fanthread but would not be considered a guild member. Please also remember that anytime you want to start an event or project that it must first be approved by me before you are allowed to host it in the guild.

In an effort to make sure that all users that participated are aware of the situation, I will be contacting all participants (that I haven't already contacted regarding refunding donations) listed in Kuchiki Riuku's main thread for the event.

If your name is listed as a nickname there and you haven't been contacted yet (whether it be a donation or a notification about this situation), it would be fantastic if you replied to this thread stating so. sweatdrop (People change their screen names sometimes, and its very hard for me to keep track of who's who!) This is being done in an effort to make sure that everyone who participated and/or donated to the event is aware of the situation, and if there were any missed mule donations that haven't been returned people can contact me + claim them!

(In the case there are any unclaimed mule donations of course, these would be returned via trade by the Team Sprocket Zen mule)
