Have you ever see a good pair of shoes/ ribbon/blouse in a store that seems like it would have the opposite? It could be stores like Bebe, hot topic, H&M, ETC? If so, did you buy it? Did you not? And what was it?
*Back after being depress about my weight and could fit into anything! lost about 10 pounds*

I've found a lot of lacy stuff at forever 21, I've seen some nice blouses at Charlotte russe too ^^
Generally, Hot topic has stuff that works with lolita, but I dunno, it's usually kinda overpriced... >.>

I'm not too sure about the shoes, but accessories, maybe.

Forever 21 always has something that can be worked into a lolita outfit. They have some nice blouses and sometimes good accessories.
Reminds me of this adorable sweater that I got on sale that I am waiting to wear cause it is not cold enough in Texas yet.

I'm not too sure about the shoes, but accessories, maybe. If you're careful, you can find them. I have a pair of TUK boots, and one pair of Demonia heels I bought at Hot Topic that both look fine with lolita. You just have to keep your eyes open, same as with any other off-brand finds. (:

Surprisingly I've found many nice blouses at my local Thrift store.
But mind you...the first one I found on accident..the others, took intensive searching sweatdrop

Most of my wardrobe is assembled from carefully selected finds from 'normal' stores and thrift stores. I'm plus-sized, so I generally shop in places like Addition-Elle/Peningtons. They have plenty of blouses in the fall/winter that work fine with lolita. I've gotten a few really good skirts from the thrift store, too. And of course accessories are easy to find in places like Claire's.
It's not hard to find loli-able items if you keep your eyes peeled all the time.

I actually have some cute clothing from Hot Topic. EDIT: NEVER skirts though! Their skirts are always too short for Lolita. Petticoats are... use-able in pairs...

I once saw a nice blouse at Stein Mart. Unfortunately, I didn't get it. I don't even know if they still have that blouse anymore.
