Note: Yomiko does not have any connection to any characters from the actual series. Just the family name and status, but she is in no relation to Yoruichi whatsoever. I say this because her father was adopted into the Shihouin Family, giving no type of blood relation to Yoruichi.]]

Apperance: Yomiko Shihouin is 4'9". She has dark brown skin and piercing golden eyes. The girl has a child-like round face due to her age 'appearance'. Her hair is a rich dark sienna color. Yomiko's hair varies during her moods, which could be ranging to a vary outrageous hairstyle to something more tame. But most of the time, the girl wears her hair in a high ponytail with an overly large emerald bow, which clashes with her crimson academy uniform. She doesn't have then curves of a woman, but the stature of a young adolescent girl her age (on average). Yomiko wears a small circular jade pendant, encased in a thin, sterling silver outline. On the front of the jade stone, there are is an engraving of a dragon in the stone. This was a gift from her grandfather sometime ago. She wears the traditional academy uniform without any type of adjustments.
Accessories: A walking cane for when she gets into one of those sick spells. No--- she walks with it everywhere. =D [[PIIMMPPIINNN]]
Personality: Yomiko can be described as a little bit 'off' by most folks. The girl has no type of street smarts whatsoever due to her circumstances as a noblewoman. She is a bit eccentric, becoming most interested in then wildest things. She is a bit of a dreamer, her imagination has no limits. Yomiko is not really extroverted and prefers not to associate with most noblemen due to their overall attitude. Someone can describe her as a quiet one, but when she gets around a person she is familiar with, she can act really goofy. In her spare time or even in class, Yomiko enjoys making obscene doodles of people, showing her innate drawing ability. This girl has alot of hope, which someone would find a bit annoying at times, because of her circumstances with PE. Even though with Pulmonary Embolism, she knows that her life expectancy is shorter than others, so she doesn't let anything phase her and just goes with the flow. Honestly, Yomiko wants the most out of life before PE catches her off guard.
Bio/History: Yomiko Shihouin was born into the Royal Family, Shihouin. She had two brothers, one that was younger and another that was older. Out of her two brothers, she was the only one that wasn't adopted. Her mother was banished from the Shihouin family after Yomiko was diagnosed with Pulmonary Embolism. It was unknown at that time that the sickness that she had would plague her for the rest of her life would have such a strong impact on her physically and mentally.At this time, she was a small child and her grandfather stepped in and opted to raise Yomiko; much to her fathers' displeasure...
When her grandfather took her in, she was very young. At the age she was, she was barely able to speak. He raised her from then, teaching her things that will stay with her for a lifetime. As she was being took in by her grandfather, her father wanted little do with her. He just ignored her like she was nothing and her eldest brother was constantly belittling her. Everytime she became sick, her grandfather began to shelter her more than she should've been. Her grandfather also took some pride in her education as well when she was in his care, allowing her to take up Calligraphy from a private tutor and some other lessons. She grew up sheltered by the Royal Family, not able to do anything until she was enrolled into the Shinigami Academy.
Her reason:: 'In reality, I hate being pampered like this sometimes. I feel like I am caged, and can't do anything about it. My older and younger brothers have more freedom than me. WAYYY more freedom and they are supposed to be one of the 'elite' of the family... and well, me... I'm the 'Black Sheep'. I'm the one that has to stay hidden... and all because I am sick and frail.
Basically, they think I am in poor health and could drop dead any minute....
.... and they constantly remind me of that on a daily basis....
It's really discouraging...
I wanted to join the Shinigami Academy... just to show them that I am not as weak and helpless that they think I am. I joined because I want to beat this sickness I have. I want to OWN it, not it OWN ME.'
