Appearance: Niku has vivid white hair that flows in curls to the mid of her back. Her steely gray eyes and sharp features create for an almost austere look to her. Her figure is that of a normal 19-year old, only interrupted by gentle curves. Being flat chested yet a little longer legged than most, she spent most of her time after elementary schooling conscious of her looks. Her voice is very soft but carries well. Her casual wear usually consists of either shorts plus a tanktop or a light dress.
Accessories: A necklace bearing a never-melting, unbreakable shard of ice about the size and thickness of a AA Battery. Small carving chisel tipped with the same type of ice as her necklace.
Personality: Concerning people, Niku tends to keep her distance at first but usually warms up to new people in a few months. She tends to be quiet, but when she does speak her voice carries surprisingly well. With a hate of meat and an affinity towards sweets, she spent most of her living life with stomach aches and malnutrition. She is an avid learner, constantly yearning to learn more past her own past education.
Bio/History: Born January 11, Niku was an underweight child from birth. As a toddler, she showed her love of nature in her kindness to all life; she never got upset and never intentionally hurt anything. In elementary school she was popular and made friends effortlessly with people who hated her and people who didn't.
She developed a strong ethic of attachment to people, becoming undying loyal to her friends and in turn her friends were loyal back. In the years following her elementary schooling, changes in her mental state occurs, causing her to gradually sink into depression and lost her ability to make newer friends.
With her old friends still loyal, she passed it off to her age.
Shortly after her 19th birthday, her and one other friend took a trip to celebrate. Along the way, their car was hit by an oncoming car and killed her friend instantly; after wandering in the freshly falling snow for hours, she collapsed in exhaustion and never moved again.
Zanpakuto
Zanpakuto Name: Marukuma
Zanpakuto Spirit: Unlike Niku, Marukuma is a more friendly spirit. Easy to control due to his laid-back nature but somewhat weaker than normal spirits. He is quick to make friends and hesitant to break a friendship; level-headed and intelligent. He takes the form of a snow white Lemur.
Spiritual World: Iceberg near the size of Mt. Fuji. The iceberg is the only solid ground in the entirety of this spirit world, the rest is frigid water.
Zanpakuto Element: Cold/Frost
Sealed Zanpakuto Appearance: Niku's sealed Zanpakuto is the same size and length as the rest of the staff. The blade is transparent like that of clean ice; the blade is NOT invisible.
Release Phrase: "Aid me to leap through this obstacle; Marukuma, take reign!"
Shikai: Her Zanpakuta disappears, leaving in it's place a large pair of white steel gauntlets. On the sides of these gauntlets, there is a jagged blade set for side-pass attacks. The gauntlets do not cover the palm of her hand and fingers, leaving her somewhat able to manipulate objects. A white strip of cloth is attached to the elbows of both gauntlets. The gauntlets reach up to her elbow and on the underside of her forearm extends a guard to protect her upper arms. Slower than her sealed form.
Attack 1 - Shiver Strike: Attacks her opponent with a small burst of speed. When struck, the area of the opponent's body where the strike hit slows down to about 90% of it's normal speed.
Attack 2 - Frost Bite: Using a stronger speed boost, she whips out at her opponent with the cloths at the ends of her gauntlets. When the cloth strikes, it does no damage but causes agonizing pain to the direct area where it hit.
Bankai: To go with the gauntlets, her bankai materializes a pair of knee height grieves. The knees and heels of the grieves are capped with a small, curved blades. The shins and the tops of the feet are lines with a blade that goes up to the knee area; unlike the gauntlets did in Shikai, the grieves have no cloth. The cloth on her gauntlets extends further and takes on a razor's edge, able to act on it's own will to assist in fighting. 50% faster than sealed form.
Same attacks as Shikai with one more. Attack 3 - Shred: Whips both cloth strips at the opponent and wraps them in the cloth. The cloth then ripples and shreds around the opponent, causing massive amounts of lacerations.
Notes: The gauntlets and grieves are proportioned to make her Bankai release look like a half-human, half-gorilla. The gauntlets are mainly for smashing in Shikai, unlike Bankai, where they decrease in size and become a speed-type weapon.
Kidou: Required 1-40. Currently dabbles in ice-based Kidou but has thus far been unsuccessful. Currently working on a defensive Kidou.
Abilities: Generates ice from the water in the air around her with the help of her necklace; uses extra energy to make the ice unmeltable or unbreakable. Regen rate is exceptionally low.

Quirks: Her skin tends to be slightly chilly to the touch, only enough to be mildly uncomfortable to others. Terrified of fire.
(As her death implies, I am basing this characters around snow, ice, and the winter season. There are a few techniques and, if allowed, some user made Kidou that go well with the elements surrounding Niku. To elaborate on her skin temperature, any contact with Niku would be about the same as if you were to touch a pole in the middle of winter; I may use this simile but keep in mind that her skin is no more tough than the normal skin of any being at the academy)
