FIRSTLY: You must use the character skeleton to make your character. HOWEVER: you do not post it on the character skeleton Topic. Copy the character skeleton, go back to the "Sorting Hat Character Creation" forum where the list of characters people have already have created is, look up near the top and you should see a purple button that says "New Topic" Click that button, label the topic "(your username)'s Character", paste the character skeleton, fill it in, and click submit. Then, wait for approval from a Mod, Crew member, or Owner. You won't be alerted of the approval, so check your character submission often to see if it has been approved or not. After its approved, you can Roleplay. (For instructions on how to roleplay, look below.)
Alright, I think the reason most people dont post in RP guilds is because they're shoved in with no idea what do to.... alot of people i invited told me they'd join but had no idea how to RP... first you have to create a character on the "Sorting Hat Character Creation" profile (see other characters people have created for an example.
so i made an example of how to RP:
Alright, lets say I want to go to the Forbidden Forest. I go to "View Forum" on the row of purple buttons, click it and then click "Forbiddon Forest" on the page that pops up. Then I post something like....
Lyra (my character's name, dont use it yourselves lol) strolled down the hill to te very edge of the forbidden forest. She took a look around, then pulled out her wand. "Lumos." The small light emitting from the tip lit part of the forest in front of her. Lyra took a step forward, then gasped. A long white tail had just dissapeared beneath the trees. END OF POST. I click submit and it'll appear. After a while, someone else will probably jump in too, posting something after you. EX:
(In response to previous post): marie (using my buddy's name for an example) smiled and chuckled. She stood next to Lyra, peering into the deep forest. "I see you've found the white sabre." END OF POST.
since you arent alerted when someone has "responded" to your post, you'll have to check where you commented often to see if people have posted to interact with you.

I also think that someone with a higher rank than me should turn this into an announcment or sticky so that it'll be on top of the list for all new players to see easily.
