The belts are unified (put together), and are currently held by Big Show and Chris Jericho.
Call them the unified tag team champions.
So are the ending the brand extension and going back to everyone on every show? All the PPV are now inter-branded And only one set of tag titles. It seems Vince might be going back to his old way of doing things when it comes to shows and PPV.
I don't think he's ending it, but he's letting the proverbial door hang loose so that if a character or storyline was required, a brand switch would be possible. Once Big Show and Jericho lose the belts, it's implied that Jericho will go back to being on Smackdown and Big Show will only be on Raw. The champs will then take their place and go on both Raw and Smackdown shows. It's Vince's way of keeping future tag team matches interesting.
