Hello!
This was a spur of the moment painting, wanting to study light and human face.
At first I had a problem having the face look feminine. Do you think I achieved it?
Also, I'm having trouble with the lighting of her jacket, especially the tall collar.
I know the hair looks like shat. D;
Any comments/critique much appreciated.

I think she looks feminine in the face so I don't think you have a problem there. As for the lighting on the jacket... It looks like there may be a bit too much light aimed at the front. With all the shadows on the face, it looks kind of strange not to see so much on the jacket.

That looks gorgeous!

I think she looks androgynous, but I like that :'3~~

The painting looks unfinished - I know that it was a spur of the moment thing, but I think some stronger contrasts would really bring out the picture - and detailing eyes always makes even an unfinished picture look polished.

I think her hair looks fine - just unfinished - I rather like the texture smile

The lighting on the jacket is confusing - it's coming from the right on the jacket, but from above on her face... just make it more consistent and you'll be fine :>

Seriously loving this picture though! *-*~

Varda: Thanks for the crit. I will try to make more shadows on the jacket, and make sure the lighting is consistent. ;D

I will definitely keep the stronger constrasts and eyes in mind.

Joking. Anyway, the lighting on the jacket doesn't seem to really follow the lighting on her face. Try to take more direction from the face.

Looks pretty damn good.
