The main hallway of the Research facility has 4 doorways branching off it. One, at the end of the hallway, led to Caeles office, a rather clean office with a filing system that would leave most people confused for years. What kind of person would think of looking for pencils in the drawer marked chocolate biscuits?
A single door lay to the left of the main entrance in the hallway, leading to a large well lit lab, evenly spaced benches throughout the room. At one end of the room, there was a larger bench, designed to be used for demonstrations. Small cabinets lined the walls, filled with basic materials and equipment available for anyone to use. The cabinets were situated roughly 40cm above the top of the benches that joined with the walls, small stepladders underneath the benches allowing shorter people to reach the cabinets.
To the right of the main entrance were the last two doors, the one closest to Caeles office was always open and led to the research room, filled with computers and filing cabinets, containing all the information gathered by Caeles and other uses of the research facility over the years ranging from the abilities of hollows to experimental devices to pasta recipes. To the side there was a doorway leading into a storage room, with the more advanced research notes arranged by complexity, requiring a password to enter.
And the final door. To the right of the entrance lay a door created out of solid metal, with a small keypad to the right of it and no door handle on the outside. Should one enter one of the few passwords that can unlock the door, they must then place their hand on the metal and pour a small amount of their reiatsu into it, thus proving their identity and opening the door. This last door lead down an incredibly long, stone spiral staircase to an area deep under the main research facility. After several minutes of walking, those who enter upon a large steel door and a small key pad to the left placed on the wall. With each button press a light beep echoed throughout the stone stairwell and a correct entry will cause the large steel door to divide perfectly and the two door halves to slide away revealing a large dark room, dimly lit by computer screens and small lamps scattered everywhere.
This room is accessible only to the highest ranked members of the Shinigami Academy, and us used for the more dangerous experiments. The room is very similar to the basic lab, but is larger, and contains more advanced technology and safety devices. Apart from the entrance, there are two doors in the advanced lab, one on the wall to the right of the entrance and the other opposite it. The door on the left leads to the testing area, reinforced steal plated concrete walls a meter thick surrounding the room to prevent the destruction of the rest of the lab should any experiment go horribly wrong. To the side of the room is a series of force fields, large enough for two people to squeeze behind to protect them while their experiment takes place and on the opposite side, a large collection of mannequins used for testing.
The door on the right wall leads to a vault containing a sample of almost every substance known to shinigami, human or hollow. And the best part of the storage room is the computer in the center. Search for what you are trying to find, and the computer will activate a mechanism to retrieve it and record who took the the substance.
The outside of the facility is made out of a dull gray stone and has a neat stone path leading from the entrance to the main building of the Academy.

Condensed Reiatsu Stones - For instant restoration of reiatsu, cool down time to be decided. --COMPLETED--
Booster Pills - A set of pills that will boost the takers reiatsu temporally, extended use will damage the body.
Shield Bracer - A metal bracer that goes around the arm, absorbing a set amount of damage before breaking. Absorbed damage yet to be decided.
Abugent (From Latin words for Flowing Silver) - A substance that looks like liquid silver, moves according to the owners will and can be formed into a variety of shapes, from tools to weaponry. Should it come into contact with a Zanpakuto, it will record information on it, allowing the shape and abilities of the Zanpakuto to be checked for research. While it can be turned into a Zanpakuto it copies, the Abugent cannot stand up to a real Zanpakuto in battle, leaving its Zanpakuto mimicry only for research.
All experiment names are subject to change.

Caeles wandered into the research facility with a crazy grin on his face and madness in his eyes, of course, this was normal for him. Brushing some of his white hair out of his eyes, Caeles entered his office, removing his shoes and stepping up onto his desk. Walking across the desk, The Head Researcher stepped onto his chair and lowered himself into it, settling into the odd seating position he had. His left leg placed like he was sitting cross-legged, but his right foot was flat on the chair, placing his right knee just near his chin.
Sitting in this strange way, the pale shinigami grabbed a sheet of paper from a well marked drawer. The label said "stiucsib". Reading through the information on the sheet, a list of the materials that he currently had stored within the lab. Chuckling as he read some of the materials, The Head Researcher pulled a battered notebook out of his pocket and began to write down some ideas...

Caeles circled the idea in the middle of the page, his pen leaving a trail of dark ink as it speed around the paper. Marked on the paper were the words "Condensed Reiatsu Stones". With this sheet of paper in his hands, The Head Researcher stood up on his chair and walked over his desk before dropping to the ground and exiting his office. Walking down the main hallway, the pale shinigami stopped before the large metal door, absently entering the code, his fingers blurring slightly as he entered the 12 numbers into the keypad. With a hissing sound, the large metal door opened, a slight whooshing sound occurring when the cold air within the advanced lab sped out.
As he begun walking down the stairs, Caeles heard the door close behind him, resealing itself to prevent unauthorized access. As he reached the bottom of the stairs, Caeles entered a code in the keypad, a mirror image of the first one, and brushed some of his white hair out of his eyes as the door opened. Walking towards the storage room, the pale researcher entered a few words on a computer in the center of the room, whirring sounds beginning when he finished the first word. Above him, a metal claw zoomed around the room, before stopping above a plain looking box. Latching onto this, the claw returned next to Caeles, depositing the box on the desk in front of him before proceeding to collect the next ingredient.
With his materials and equipment collected, The Head Researcher stacked the boxes on top of each other and returned to the advanced lab, quickly placing the boxes down before they fell. Opening the largest box, he removed a strange device, one that he had seen a blue print of when he was in the 12th squad. This device focused reiatsu, an attempt to mimic the abilities of the Quincy. It did not work perfectly, but it would suit his needs for this experiment. Removing the other ingredients, glass dust and a strange gelatinous liquid, the crazy shinigami created 5 spheres of the sticky liquid, each roughly 2 cm in diameter, before rolling them in the glass dust. With this done, Caeles Pondera placed the spheres within the machine and turned it on, running back and hiding behind a desk as the machine started up.

The machine whirred to life, the air rippling around it as it gathered energy. With the machine now producing an eerie green glow, the spheres placed inside it began to change, the gelatinous liquid condensing and hardening as it was hit by pure energy. A couple of minutes later, the machine stopped, the left over Reiatsu it had gathered now dissipating as Caeles walked towards it. Opening the device, The Head Researcher used a pain of tongs to remove the spheres, placing them on a tray, yet sighing as one of the spheres made a screeching sound and melted.
Placing his equipment away, Caeles returned with a wet cloth and moved to clean up his mess. However, when the wet cloth touched the gooey mess left by the failed Reiatsu stone, it burst into green flames, the energy it had absorbed breaking free when the water touched it. Raising and eyebrow, Caeles flicked his wrist and sent the cloth flying across the room, the green flames engulfing it vanishing once it hit the the floor. Walking over to pick up the cloth, The Head Researcher smiled insanely, glad that he had decided to place a negation field in the room. Any extreme heat or coldness, liquid or dangerous chemical that touched this floor would be negated, preventing any accidental injuries.
With the small distraction now over, the pale shinigami returned to the Reiatsu Stones he had just created, now cooled down and a shimmering blue colour. Taking the spheres, Caeles placed one into a small sample box, for archive purposes, but kept the rest in one of his pockets. Walking to the exit of the room, The Head Researcher placed his hand on the scanner by the door and quickly left, he really needed some sugar.

Caeles walked to the Research Facility, his white hair billowing in the wind as he left the teahouse. Entering through the main door, the pale shinigami walked into the basic lab and grabbed some wood for the adjoining storage room, the best quality polished wood he had. With the wood in hand, Caeles grabbed some nails, a hammer and some soft velvety material, placing each of them on a bench in the lab.
5 minutes later, The Head Researcher exited the lab, a cylindrical wooden case attached to his belt, inside it the last 3 Reiatsu stones. Grabbing his notebook, Caeles tore out the recent pages, placing them all into a folder he marked "Reiatsu Stones", which was then stored in one of the many filing cabinets in the research room.
Now finished with his latest creation, Caeles walked into his office and sat down on his chair, quietly awaiting another idea.

Caeles lent back and cracked his neck, his dark rimmed eyes narrowing as he saw the time. He must have been sitting there for ages. Standing up on his desk, Caeles stepped over some paper work and then dropped down to the other side and grabbed his umbrella from a stand next to the door. "Well What should we do? Vote. ... We say check how everything is going... Walk!" Nodding to himself as he voted, Caeles walked towards the exit of the facility, planning on checking how everyone was going on the first day.
