Esper Shiva 0-Kya-0 Hallowrise Esper Shiva Wanna hear a sad story? When I went to the cave to capture Lugia I saved the game right before the battle like a sensible person normally would, then I spent something like 4 hours trying to weaken it to capture. After a while I ran into a shiny light purple Lugia and freaked. Unfortunately for me I poisoned it (or whatever drains 1-3 hp per turn) and the poor thing fought all the way through it. Every pokeball I had (I had them all except the masterball which I probably wasted on Suicune) and none worked, even at 1hp it fought it's way out, let out it's cry and fainted. I can't tell you how many hours I turned the on and off looking for another one, but I never saw one again. And the moral of the story is, don't leave home without your masterballs kids. rofl That IS sad. D'8 wow. I did'nt even know that Shiny Lugia could be obtained without a cheat. truly a sad day. I still freak out when I see shinies, even if it's a common. I lost a shiny Staravia when it used whirlwind to escape stressed although, my friend was using the Pokeradar to chain Pichu for a shiny for over two hours, and didn't get anything so he saved and turned off the game...next time he turned it on, without chaining or anything, he got a shiny Pichu as his first encounter of the day.

Every Pokemon has a shiny alternative its just the chances of running into one are extremely high, near the chances of getting struck by lightning, the only thing that's just as rare as a shiny is contracting PkRs (which I have yay for me).

0-Kya-0 Xikar Hallowrise Fffffffuuuu~ Yes. D8 I was trying to resist the pull of it, but... .... I REALLY DO WANT~! gonk <3333333 Its a beautiful thing isn't it. New look, 4.5 generation gameplay (since it actually has few new things D/P/Pl does have), and apparently you can select a Pokemon on your team to walk behind you like Pikachu in Yellow), so much good stuff. ~nosebleed~ That sounds so cute! Its been a while sense I played Gold or Crystal, and I cant wait to get HeartGold. When I had Crystal I was too young to understand shinies, and so I got the first egg from the day care people and it was a shiny magby. I didn't know the sparkle things meant it was special and so after a while I deleted my game and then years later realized I had been given a free shiny magby by an NPC!

I'm not sure if people know this, but with Nintendo's current Pokemon event (ending Nov. 15th) the Arceus event allows players who can transfer Arceus to Heart Gold and Silver Soul will receive an extra event and will be able to capture a lv. 1 Dialga and Polkia.

Oh, gosh. I remember when Pokemon Gold first came out. As soon as I got into Kanto in the game, I started to cry 'cause of all the nostalgia and the fact that Blaine was gone. I think I did the same thing when I heard about the remakes. xp

Petite Symphony Oh, gosh. I remember when Pokemon Gold first came out. As soon as I got into Kanto in the game, I started to cry 'cause of all the nostalgia and the fact that Blaine was gone. I think I did the same thing when I heard about the remakes. xp I know how you felt! When you take the train to Saffron I was all like 'where's Copycat's house?!' cause the station's right where her old house used to be
