Welcome to The Y.M.C.A Pack Information

Pack Summary

Paths cross all the time, yet rarely does it cause anything more then a flinch of contact before – flash – it's over. But, sometimes you get that moment. That brief flash spawns an idea that grows and blooms over time only to create something larger. This happened when Chivosi and Menelaus happened upon one another, though they hadn't known it right away. Meeting Chivosi’s traveling partner Merrill, the trio simply wandered for a time.

Traveling creates camaraderie and camaraderie breeds bonds. Chiv and Mene-Pup (Merrill’s strange nickname for him) grew fairly close and almost decided to start a family, but their plans changed. Sitting together by the water as Menelaus loved to do, they first discussed the creation of a pack. The flowers had grown, and ideas burst out fresh as the new spring grass, thoughts pouring down like rain to help it grow. As soon as the idea was made and the name chosen, Merrill was brought in.

Her first thought was, “You chose THAAAT name!??” Or . . . close enough to it.

“You May Come Always. YMCA.”

This pack stands for everything that is lonely and afraid in the world today. It is a simple place for them to pick themselves back up again. A wolf is free to stay here under our watchful and protective eyes for as long or as short as they like. One can even call it an inn of sorts, a peaceful place away from the cluster of packs to YMCA’s southwest where wolves are not asked prying questions beyond “How long do you wish to stay here?” or “What would you like to eat?” .A wolf is never forced to stay here although permanent members are indeed welcome, it doesn't necessarily mean everyone's happy to stay forever.

Couples who cannot take care of their children for whatever reason, can know they are in safe paws if given to the YMCA’s caretakers, while at the same time lost pups can find hope in kind wolves whom would like to adopt them. An inn, a shelter, an asylum from pack politics – this is what YMCA is about.

“Free as a bird.” Another great saying key to forming this pack into what it's supposed to be. So bring us your Orphans, your old, your weak and your misfits, your misunderstood or your lonely. Here they will find sanctuary.

Help will always be the key.

Pack Ranks
Alpha - Pack leaders, currently position is held by Chivosi & Menelaus. All major pack decisions must be run by them first, it is they who will also settle any disagreements in the pack.

Beta - Second in command, though generally held by two wolves the position is currently filled only by Merrill. Beta's see to the day to day running of the pack. Delegating the needed work out to other pack members and ensuring everyone helps out. Might be called upon to help settle any disagreements in the pack.

Gammas
- The pack citizen, weather they be permanante members or those staying for only a short time. All citizen are expected to help out in the pack in whichever way they can be that running boarder patrol or hunting. they must listen to both the Alphas and the Beta.

Adolescents - Although teens are not expected to take on the roles of thier adult counterparts they are often asked to consider the jobs they would like to train for in the future and begin shadowing members of the pack who preform these tasks in order to learn.

Pups - Pups are not expected to be anything other then puppies and are free to play, explore and learn about the world in the safety of the central pack lands.

Omegas - Omegas are treated well in YMCA and they are offered the same opportunities as Gamma though thier shy natures often mean they are found more often preforming tasks like pup sitting.
