Ainokami hadn't been asleep, not completely anyway, but the part of her that happened to be concious didn't do a good job at all to warn her of the oncoming predator. Just as she was about to allow herself the treat of a midday nap, something rather large landed on her. She hissed, her bright vibrant eyes flinging wide open as she writhed beneath the warm, dark figure - only able to capth glimpses of the culprit through pereferal vision, "Get off me you daft git!"

Felyn Ainokami hadn't been asleep, not completely anyway, but the part of her that happened to be concious didn't do a good job at all to warn her of the oncoming predator. Just as she was about to allow herself the treat of a midday nap, something rather large landed on her. She hissed, her bright vibrant eyes flinging wide open as she writhed beneath the warm, dark figure - only able to capth glimpses of the culprit through pereferal vision, "Get off me you daft git!" StarStealer's eyes glittered with delight. She'd been taken offguard, perfect for the second part of his plan.
He deftly got off of the perturbed Feli...only to wander over and step carefully on her tail.
'Oh...did I do that...I'm terribly sorry.' he said with a sick smile.'

A wry smirk developed on her maw, sick and disgusted, but hiding the repulsion she found instantly with this creature. Now that she was awake, he would find little glory in bothering her - for she was a master at hiding her feelings and emotions, and would provoke and taunt him the more he bothered her. "Of course you did, though I'm sure I don't need to tell you that, unless of course you're blind, which I'm sure you're not, darling." He rtail wavered as she sat up, vibrant eyes nar rowed on him.

'My brilliant eyes? Of course not.' he purred, quietly setting his eyes on her narrowed own.
'Well, hope it didn't hurt too much.' he added, a glint in his eyes. This Feli was...something else. She was playing with him...interesting.
'Well, if we're being coy, we might as well introduce ourselves. I'm StarStealer.' he commented, bowing slightly in a staged pose.
((Brb, need to drop something off at another store, but please continue to post...I'm liking this RP!))
Edit -> Never mind, I'm still here for a bit. ^^

The smirk on her maw only deepened as he commented on his beautiful eyes. Among Feli, eyes of odd colors were not a rarity, so she couldn't think really why he would call them beautiful. She wasn't particuraly fond of orange. She rather liked her niece's eyes. Poison green.
"Ainokami," she purred out simply, her tail wavering in front of the fire, "I would say it's been a pleasure to meet you, but I'm afraid such a statement would be stretching the truth." She could be so mean, somtimes.

'Oh, but a treat it has been.' he purred back, his tail seeming to dance about before the fire.
'To meet one with such a poisonous tongue, one that may even rival my own....that is a delight.' he said, his maw contorting as he spoke the words.
'And Ainokami...if what my clan-mate Aki says is true...'kami' means god or goddess in your case...Would that mean I should call you Princess Aino?' he added, the name seeming to slip from his maw with easy.
'A firey princess indeed.' he thought quietly to himself.

She laughed at the thought, a cold laugh though it be. "I'm hardly a princess, Star, but I do suppose the goddess part would fit me well. After all, I'm the venus feli." How amusing, Venus. The goddess of love - and yet, Ainokami was such an irritable little thing.

'Hardly a princess?' he scoffed at the thought, a haughty laugh escaped his maw.
'I believe that is incorrect, dear Goddess.' he stepped towards her, playfully.
'As a Goddess, you should be able to have your own title...and dance among the stars!' he pointed out, genuinly intreged.
'Perhaps I have misjudged you, o Princess of the sister star...' he mused, recalling Venus' nickname.
'Plus...we born of the stars must stick together!' Star grinned, bowing into another bow.

She grinned, though it was rather mocking, at the amount of gibberish that spilled past his mug. She simply tilted her head at him as he moved closer to her, tail wavering - blowing gusts at the fire so that they danced even more widely by her beckoning.
"No offense, good Star," she murmured, leaning a little closer, "but I do believe you may be off your pretty little rocker." She grinned, coldly, and moved past him - leaping up onto the couch in a movement of pure grace, then slowly and simply lay down, her head resting on her forepaws as she watched him.

'Off my rocker, you say?' as a cold grin plopped across his face.
Star turned to face 'the Goddess' as he spoke.
'Believe me, o' fair 'Kami'.' he began, drawing out the words.
'I try to be nice, and it's not my cup of tea...however...you bring out something...interesting. It's like a game.' he noted, his tail wisping back and forth.
'You are the Queen, I am but a knight. The Knight may have to serve the Queen, granted, a few wins in normal contact, but it is the Knight who will rule on the Battlefield!' he grinned, shooting a look bathed in the firelight.
'Now...should we start another round, my lady...or do you wish...to concede?' he questioned, intreged.
