That would explain why that Jim guy from mtv2 was compearing the two bands records sales though...

old brit pop is all right the smiths are great. modern brit rock some of it is good like arctic monkeys, the fratellis, klaxons, the view, ffaf, muse of course, the rakes, etc..
but mcr rule!

I also happen to like Blur, The Good, The Bad, and the Queen (taht's one band, yessir), Massive Attack, Arctic Monkeys, Nick Drake, Eurythmics, The Clash, aaaaaand...more people who I have unfortunately forgotten at the moment. D'oh, Gerardine.
