I've heard one version of it, it's in a fanfare we sing. I don't know if it's the same one though.

Basically, is this right for the first part?
Jubilate Deo, Sing a jubilant song,
Jubilate Deo, sing it unto the throng
Gather every nation
Gather every voice
Gather all ye people
Rejoice!
Sing a joyful song on high!

If that's right, Jubilate is pronounced you-bill-ah-tay

There are a lot of versions of the piece.. do you happen to know more about which version it could be? My freshman year, I sang Jubilate Deo.. I don't remember what version, but it was very upbeat. ^^

As far as pronunciation, try to remember "you-be-latte" and "day-oh". Latte, like the drink.

It might be a little late for this post... but you should try to get a hold of the song before the tryouts.

Like, talk to your choir director and ask for the music, and browse online to see if you can't find a recording somewhere. iTunes might have it... but you'd have to pay $0.99 for it, probably.

Who knows, though? It might be worth it! biggrin
