A place to put things that don't really fit under any single category or aren't extensive enough to need their own thread.
My Tip for the Day: When running a shop poll, always put a "Gold please" or No opinion option as your FIRST option in the poll - people who hit topics just to vote generally pick the first thing on the list regardless of what it is, this keeps them from biasing your poll results.

Trim your URLS! When assigning affiliate URL's or putting links in your signature, it's a good idea to trim down your URL to something more manageable.

Everything in red is unnecessary.

Tags (aka keywords) Choosing tags is very important for your shop - pick things that people actually might search for. Your shop name should definitely be in your tags list.
• You can have a maximum of five tags • Tags must be 4 to 40 characters long • Tags must be separated by commas • Tags cannot be all numbers. • Of course they must follow the ToS and be relevant!
For B/C shops, you might want to choose "breedable", "changeable" and/or "pets" as two of your tags. Your pet species (wolf, horse, dog, human) is another good choice, possibly "roleplay" if you're a RP req'd or RP heavy shop.
Less useful tags are things like "pretty" "cool" "event" "sale" "auction" - remember that tags apply across ALL FORUMS, not just B/C, so pick things that aren't common usage elsewhere.

Raffle Ticket Math
Numbering raffle tickets is a common area of trouble, mostly caused by the confusion with numerals and intervals. often you'll see them done like this:
Intervals of 100 tickets sold: 1-100 101-201 202-302 303-403 But wait, you only sold 400 tickets, where did those extra three come from? There's exactly 100 numbers in between each group... isn't there? The correct way to number tickets is thus:
Intervals of 100 Tickets sold: 1-100 101-200 201-300 301-400
Now many people look at that and say "301 minus 400 is only 99... I only got 99 tickets!" but that is incorrect - there are 99 intervals between 301 and 400, but you got exactly 100 tickets. Let's look at a smaller example.
301-302-303-304-305-306-307-308-309-310
301-310, 9 intervals (count the dashes in the line above) but 10 numerals, thus ten tickets. The rule to remember is that the number of the last ticket sold minus the number of the first ticket sold is equal to the number of tickets plus one. (400-301=99+1 =100 tickets)

Easy List Numbering (for breedings, customs, contests, etc.)
Use the List function instead of hand numbering - it's not only faster, but more accurate, and removals/corrections are automatically renumbered.

Bracket-star-bracket will give you a number.
Just keep adding them as needed.
Like so
