 The view from up here was nice, expansive, and not the least bit dangerous for those with decent balance. Antosha was testing his limits as he often did, however, peering over the edge with little thought. It wasn't as if a fall would kill him. These rocks littering the sloped clearing weren't that high off of the ground. And they made nice steps lined up the way they were. He wouldn't have to jump to get back down from this tallest boulder.
And so, safety most assured, he played across the rocks, bouncing dangerously from one to the other. Large paws gripped at the surface of the next one he hit, a handful of pebbles crumbling away and falling. He righted his footing quickly, oblivious to the fact that one false step could cause a tumble.
The game continued on this this for a while longer, each leap becoming less and less restrained; each dance around the top become more careless. Eventually he stopped, glancing back at his journey from the tallest boulder once more. Muddied paw prints dotted some of the step-ups. He grinned a bit at the small detail, peeking back over the edge at the mushy looking, thin grass covering the slope below.

 Sooth had set out today with no particular destination in mind, intent simply upon enjoying the day and seeing what it had in store for her. She had found, now, a gently ascending slope in the foothills casually littered with a series of boulders, possibly from some avalanche ages ago.
Large, silent paws tread softly across the sparse but spongy grass as she studied them with her somewhat blurry black-and-white vision. As she drew near, a flash of what appeared to be tails flicked past the edge and were gone, then returned and left again. Curious now she uttered a very soft warbling sound out of curiosity and found a place to scramble up.
Finally she found purchase on the top with one forepaw and poked her head over, coming nose to butt with the other dragon kitsusagi who was peering over the opposite edge of the boulder they both clung to. She could not, of course, actually make out his coloring... but she still thought the other had a very lovely speckled butt anyway. This thought was purely innocent, as was the softly spoken question/greeting that followed. "Speckle-butt?"

A happy sort of rumble rose in the males throat as he continued to peer over. It looked like it would be fun, jumping down from here. It would almost be like flying and heck, he was sure he'd be able to land squarely on his practiced paws. All restraint seemed thrown out the window now, all common sense overwritten with the foolish mind of a thrill-seeker.
He began to move, thinking to stand back up again, but the second he twitched a sound met his ears. They flicked back as far as they would and tails splayed out. Forepaws had to grip at the front of the boulder to stop his bulk from sliding right off. He remained that way for a while, flailed out, until a laugh started to rise up. A very entertained sort of laugh.
Whiskers swished around as he turned back to the source quickly, eyes brightening as they contacted the one who was also climbing. A toothy grin stretched his maw. "Speckle-butt, you said?" he questioned, making sure he'd heard right. Looking down to himself, he considered his dotted pelt.

Sooth smiled at the other dragon's laughter before scrambling up on top of the boulder behind him. She remained stretched out sideways against the next boulder up, so as not to make her newest acquaintance shift his weight toward the edge and slip off before he was ready.
"Yep! Speckle-butt." Her voice remained very soft, though audible none the less. After a moment she added, "It's very pretty." It was very much an afterthought. She peered at him examining himself and turned to peer at her own behind. "I have dorsal stripes." She stretched her tails out to display them, looking quite pleased with herself.
