Nrol Swamp - wastelands of treacherous bog which is on the path to the tree of the dead.

A gurgling pop sounded as an air bubble escaped the dark depths or the murky and peaty water of the bog. Odd and rare bugs flitted too and fro. Weird insects buzzed across the muggy air space. SNAP! with that one buzzing insect was eaten only to be replaced by another one buzzing by. Another pop resounded across the bog. The croaks of toads and frogs carried across the water like echo bouncing off windows. Faint chirps of crickets and Grasshoppers flitted around the edges of the swamp land as if the dared to enter the muggy environment but refrained for common sense ruled.
The soft coos of the swamp ran like a well oiled machine. Constant and never changing. It was similar to a song. It weaved it's way through the air both day and night. However this well oiled machine was to be disrupted this coming night. A visitor would arrive to disrupt the song, a visitor that would change the tune for however long she was there. There is no saying if the visitor would do damage that would be altering of if she would simply disrupt the smooth working for just the time she was there. Who knows maybe others will end up in the tussle of The Coos of the swamps nature and the alterations of the young visitor....
After the last ray of sunshine was drown out was when it began. A small toad wandered out to the edge of the swamp. The little one saw something odd. It seemed to him that a tree that had fallen was sprouting two triangular white things. No clue as to what they were but they were curious things for a tree to be growing. Soon under his inspection the tree let out a soft giggle and he hopped back...
Quanitela watched from her new hiding place as a toad seemed to watch the spot where she was. She giggled at his steady gaze before she popped out of her hiding spot causing the toad to skitter away. Quanie clapped her hands in excitement and followed after the toad.

(Mind if i join?) Hikaru had decided to go traveling for a while she was alittle bored at the Mizukito Shrine granting simple water based wishes she wanted to do some traveling maybe get into a adventure or help somebody
Well her travels which really wasn't that far led her to the swamp she was not to fond of swamps but she wanted to cross it to see if she could and also she didn't want to have to go around it so she started in
Thats when she noticed a strange yokai with what looked like face paint chasing a frog for no aparent reason she didn't look mad at the frog she acutally seemed to be having fun chasing the frog what really got Hikaru's attention is when the frog started to head in her direction"uh-oh...."Hikaru mutters as she starts to back up

(No not at all ^.^)
Quanitela grinned and happily bound after her new found frog friend. The white face paint that caked her eyes and cheeks gleaming under the occasional beam of moon light. Her hair bounced in neat waves that seemed to clump together as one. She giggled abundantly as she followed the frog and didn't notice the Sireni she was making her way toward till after the frog hopped between her legs or rather under for they seemed to be floating from what Quanitela could tell.
Little Quanitela gasped at the sight of the new ghostling and did her best to put a halt on her forward pace. She'd been bounding after the frog at a very up beat and lively pace and it seemed her body didn't quite feel like stopping so soon. Quanie frowned at her bodies failure to respond exactly as she wanted it to. However as she slip to a stop toward the ghostling with the red scarf she realized she not stop soon enough and she almost cursed a foul word before she became a small brown fox with multiple tails. After she'd transformed her little paws fell under her and she rolled right to a stop just before the Sireni. The little fox grumble softly and whipped her many tails back and forth in agitation. She'd fallen and made somewhat of a fool of herself. She sighed and then shook her fur of the clumps of wet mud that clung to her fur. She tentatively rubbed at her face removing the mud that had gathered there still quietly grumbling.
When she had removed all the mud she seemed to be able to remove and green tint could be sen in the brown fur. It was a dark green that seemed pure and unrefined. Her light green eyes stuck out most of all against the dark brown of her fur. She looked up at the new Ghostling and nodded. Her little pink tongue dart out licking her nose once before she cocked her head to the side. "I knew Sereni's were like creatures of the water but I knew not that you all interested yourselves in peat filled and bog water." Quanitela looked about to see if anyone else was about before turning her head back. " You've not come to spite me for chasing that frog have you?" She cocked her head to the right a small grin showing a row of sharp white teeth another sharp contrast to the dark brown fur. "Are you not hot wearing all that clothing?" Quanitela shook her head softly. "You don't have to answer that question about the clothing. I wear much myself." She nodded softly before truning around once to inspect the area. Off to the right the little frog stared at her as if waiting and she shook her head to the left was a small mass of rotted trees laying in a mass on the ground. With work it could become some sort of hide out. She grinned once more before finishing her round about look. Then when she'd finished she turned to look at the Sireni."Oh look at me I've forgotten my manners. How terrible of me. I am Quanitela." In her small fox form she lowered her front legs and seemed to dip the front half of her body much like a puppy when playful but she didn't mean it in a playful manner but as in a bowing sort of fashion.

Hikaru sighs thankfully for the yokai changing into a fox and avoiding hitting her she then listened as the little fox questioned her and asnwered her when she was finished"i don't live here i don't like swamps really i was just about to try and cross it as for the frog the frog apparently didn't mind you chasing it besides its none of my bussness and no actually im not really hot in my cloths and my name is Hikaru Pleased to meet you"Hikaru says in a friendly tone and smiles
She then takes the time to actually look around the swamp it smelled alittle funny and the water was rather icky looking it reminded her of the lake water at the Mizukito Shrine before she claimed the power of the Spirit Sphere which aside from her not liking swamp water in life might also be the reason she doesn't like as a spirit because she changed into a ghostling when she fell into said icky lake
Hikaru contiued to look around for a bit before she returned her attention back to Quanitela"heh my turn to ask the questions do you live here? and why were you chasing the frog?"Hikaru asked in a playful yet curious tone

Quanitela wiggled in fox form looking up at the lady named Hikaru responded to her questions. She was relieved that no harm would come to her for chasing the frog. She figured it had something to do with changing form and not hitting her. Though she was surprised to find that she didn't like the swamp. Quanie almost giggled when the Sireni said she was here to cross the swamp. Soon her responses were through and she looked about the swamp. Quanie cocked her little foxy head to the side. "Well miss I live in a lopsided house a little ways away. There you find Storm, Angel and a few others. It is a house of calamity you could say." Qunitela grinned at her own use of the large word. It was used correctly and she knew. It was correct. She then proceeded to finish answering the questions. "The frog... well that is simple. We were playing hide and seek only I was hiding and he seeking. However he then found me. So then I chased him. It is sort of a game of tag once the other is found. be it that we are found you see. Make sense?"Qunitela wiggled and pawed at a little tuft of grass that was growing by her before she looked back up at Hikaru"Well then shall we try to cross it? The swamp that is?"

Hikaru found the wiggling fox to be super cute she always loved foxes Quanitela seemed surprised when she told her she didn't like swamps when Quanitela started answering her questions she listened and when she said where she lived was very chaotic she understood why she would want to come to a nice calm swamp then when she answered her question about the frog and then tryed to explain about the game she almost laughed some she had played a tag hide and seek before it was much more fun then just simply being found and that was it
Hikaru laughs alittle and nods showing she understood then when Quanitela asked about crossing the swamp Hikaru noded Quanitela probably knew the swamp much better then Hikaru she tended to avoid swamps if possable she did have a bad experance with swamps in her living life it was not fun she didn't think this was the same swamp she hoped it wasn't at least
As she thought about it she shivered alittle as she remembered what had happened when she had to escort a nobleman through said swamp
