Thanks, I hadn't touched charcoal for 2 years and had never tried a realistic animal or that size of canvas before, let alone a tiger so yea many things kinda went wrong but I really like how it turned out. I can see what you mean, I was manly getting it matched to the reference and then faded the background too much. Thank you very much for the input. I know you well enough to only take it as helpful criticism. Next update will be my demo reel. Things came up making me have to change my plan for it to budget timing but it will turn out well. Thanks for responding.

Besides what Rose said, the neck area of the tiger seems a little weird to me. Seems a little longer than it needs to be. I still likey though. 3nodding

The Native American woman is nice too except for the shadows of the face. They seem more prominent than they should be.

I remember her from what Kaze has told me of the Touhou games. The hat gives me the creeps though. sweatdrop

The shadows on the cheeks are war paint. Pretty sure thats what it was on the reference I had.

Well the reference was from a native american portrait calender and that one was the only one with war paint so I chose her.
