Skara set everything down neatly on the table. Leaving she came back with dishes and silverware, putting them in their places. She watched curiously as Aster pulled out a chair... For her? She refused, motioning for him to sit down.

Reluctantly he pushed her chair back in. He decided to wait patiently for her to set the table and be seated before he started eating. He had to remember that she was an independent young woman. Treating her otherwise would be disrespecting her as a person. He amended that he would only help her if she asked him to.

Skara sighed gratefully as Aster pushed her chair back in. She dished out the spaghetti and salad. She put plenty on Aster's and Kiara's plates, putting only a little on her own plate. She waited a while for Aster to start eating. Seeing that he wasn't going to until she sat down, she reluctantly sat in the seat next to his.

"So what do you think." said Aster wondering what they thought of his cooking. Hopefully it wasn't too bad since this was pretty average for him. Though it didn't seem as though they'd judge it too harshly. Still he couldn't get his hopes up.

She tasted the spaghetti first, "The sauce needs a little more seasoning but the meatballs are perfect." She looked down at her plate again, testing a little bit of the salad dressing before the salad. The salad dressing tasted bizarre alone but "The salad dressing tastes amazing on the salad," she said finishing her thought aloud. Eating the remainder of her food, she waited patiently for the other two to finish theirs.

Aster took a second to taste his food. "You're right about the spaghetti tasting bland, but I have to hand it to myself the meatballs and salad taste amazing." said Aster. He couldn't believe how much he had improved. "I guess experimenting with those recipes really payed off." said Aster.

"Yes it did." She smiled pleasantly. "Oh" She said surprised. "I forgot the glasses!" She hurried back to the kitchen. Returning quickly with three glass cups. Setting them by the plates, she filled them with the smoothie. "Sorry Master" she said apologetically, looking ashamed. She bravely asked "Did you want some cake?" without looking at Aster.

Aster smiled at her enthusiasm. "Sure that would be great." said Aster pleasantly. Cake would be the perfect finisher for dinner. He wondered how good it would taste.

She smiled at him. Taking the knife she cut the cake into eight proportionate pieces. Putting three pieces on dessert plates she slid a slice to both Aster and Kiara. Picking hers up she sat down, taking a small taste. The cake was a rich chocolate flavor, the frosting was the perfect mint flavor; she thought it was okay, but she is very nit-picky of her cooking.

Aster took a bite of the cake. Instantly his eyes bulged out of there sockets at the taste of the cake.
"Never have I taste something so delicious, the sure quality of this masterpiece can not be explained by words alone." said Aster tears in his eyes. Not even his mother had cooked something this good.

Skara stared at Aster tentatively as he took a bite. As his eyes bulged she looked concerned and sad. She didn't think the cake was that bad. She looked up in confusion at his words. Her confusion dissipated as he finished talking. She closed her eyes and smiled calmly and happily.
